Currently more booked up in my studio than I’ve ever been working with a bunch of really amazing bands making kick ass music and I couldn’t be more grateful. Every artist I work with is trusting me with a little piece of their soul that goes into their music and I try and take that as seriously as I can.

It’s wild to think that I used to sit all day at Telstra answering the phones and now I get to make music with people for a living, all because a small handful of bands took a chance on me and it’s snowballed to this point. If we’ve ever worked together, thank you so much, and I hope it’s not the last time.

Recording as officially wrapped up for the second album. It’s been an absolute pleasure and a privilege to be at the helm for this album and I’m so excited for everyone to hear it!

The guys and gal arrived at the studio ready and willing to do whatever it took to make this album the best it could possibly be, and as a producer that makes my job a million times easier and more fun. They were professional and prepared, and never complained no matter how many takes it required to get it right. So huge love and thanks to Darklore for trusting me. Definitely one of my favourite projects I’ve worked on to date. If you like metal and fantasy, you’re going to absolutely froth this album, it is a thing of epic proportions. Be prepared!

Literally spent nearly 3 days straight editing and mixing drums for one song for a client. Hit me up if you want a producer who will obsess over your drum tones to a pathological level.

Had the distinct pleasure over the last week and a half of tracking guitars with the lovely people in for their upcoming sophomore album. Total sweethearts who brought in some epic battle music mixed with black metal and fantasy references for me to wrap my head around. Needless to say it’s been an enjoyably nerdy time. You’re going to want to pay attention to these guys when the album drops.

Next up, Bass!

Another track done and dusted with the South of Sideways boys. I encourage you to go and have a listen if hard Rock is your thing. This session was the first I have done tracking drums out of Underground Audio in Nundah and I couldn’t be happier with the drum tones I was able to pull there (only samples used in the final mix was a 30% blend on the kick drum, so what you’re hearing is all natural). I also tried a few new mix techniques on this that I can see myself making a regular part of my arsenal moving forward. Thanks again to the lads for trusting me with their music :)
