Breaking News: Warrap State authorities have arrested a senior commander of the South Sudan People’s Defense Forces' Brigade Four with his soldiers for the death of 7 civilians through suffocation as they allegedly detained and locked them up in a shipping container.
One detainee was rushed to the hospital and survived while the seven victims succumbed to the harsh treatment at Bar-pout Military Barracks on Monday night.
State Minister of Information and Communications William Wol Mayom says an urgent committee has been formed to investigate the circumstances that led to the detention of civilians without notifying the Governor.
