This morning I have played with he service at the German Church (Christinæ Kyrka) in Gothenburg. Among my musical duties there has been also the honourable task to accompany a wonderful ensemble of female’s voices: The Gothenburg’s Flickkör (women’s choir); conducted by the wonderful and gifted Birgitta Mannerström-Molin. Thank you to her from the bottom of my heart ❤️.
One of the pieces I played was the “In Paradisum” by Gabriel Fauré; one of my most favorite compositions ever, which I played and conducted myself during my 8 years as Church Musician in Stuttgart.

I hope to get further chances of making music which such great people and musicians.
Thanks also to all the dear friends of the Tyska Kyrka for being always so welcoming and kind to me!

🇸🇪- Tomorrow, Friday 13th at 12 o’clock.
I will play the Lunch-Concert at the Gustavi Cathedral of Gothenburg.
I will be one of the four international performers and the concert is in the Göteborg International Organ Academy program.

With a fully Baroque background, I decided to leave my “comfort zone” and to experiment on the wonderful romantic two manuals choir organ with a selection of the British 🇬🇧 composer Percy E. Fletcher: Matinale & Fountaine Reverie.
These compositions are perfect for the expert as well for the beginner listeners. Entertaining and colourful sounds shades of the music teleport the audience to an imaginary promenade, where you can experience the phases of the beginning of the day ⛅️(Matinale) and the sparkling water of fresh water fountains ⛲️ (Fountain Reverie).

During the month of September I have been asked to work as a substitute organist at the Göteborg Deutsche Kirche. 🤓
Not only the church ⛪️ is one of the most historical building of the city but it is old as much as the city of Gothenburg itself. 😮🫶

The Organ is a wonderful instrument and pleasure to play as well. 🤩😍

I must say a big thank you to the welcoming congregation, which I share a “Home”-feeling with, due to their German origin. 🇸🇪🇩🇪
But I have also to say thank you to the Pastors and Organists for have trusted me and my skills so much and immediately, that they offered to me so many great opportunities.

With this picture I want to say: I have started finally a new workout 🏋🏻 regime.
I want to remove those 6/7kg that the pandemic 😷 brought to me.

🇬🇧🇸🇪- After only two months being in Gothenburg I have been invited to give a concert 🎶 at Lundby Nya Kirka!
Edlund has been a wonderful host and a kind friend. He offered me the chance to play on his Magnusson Organ: a Jewel 💎!!!
The Program „DANSA“ was received very well and people interacted and had fun 🤩! ! ! - what a great start 🛫 ! ! !
Thanks to the lovely Nicholas, for assisting me in tons of „push&pull“-stops and page turning 🫶

Yesterday I had the honor to have Michele Valcanover-Ochner as a Guest Harpist in the Church where I am Church Musician (St. Theresia).
He will be the last performer I bring to Stuttgart for a concert to participate in the music series Theresianer Kirchenmusik & S.THE-Music-Project founded by myself in 2019 - In order to create a musical offering of value outside the Stuttgart city center. This brought not only new people closer to the Music in St. Theresia but created sponsors and new choir members.

Equally awesome was the work of my Church Choir during the Mass for Easter Sunday! - THANK YOU FOR HAVE BEEN ALWAYS SO AMAZING SINGERS, PEOPLE and SUPPORTERS of my work.

THANK YOU to the Parish members for being such welcoming and extremely generous givers. You all have recognized my skills as a Musician, Conductor and obviously Event Manager; you truly trusted me !

On Friday 31.03. I had the honor and privilege to play the harpsichord at the St. Cecilia’s Hall in Edinburgh (Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿).

My warm and heartily gratitude go to three persons, who did their best to make this happen: Dr. John Kitchen, Dr. Jenny Nex and Dr. Massimiliano Guido.

The Green Monster, the Big Red and the Blue Bird: these are the name of the three wonderful harpsichords by Knight Vernon, we played yesterday with William J Randall and Nicholas Schmelter.

The wonderful Sanctuary of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church has been full of welcoming and generous listeners!

People had fun and moreover all of us (musicians) had fun and played really passionately.

An A. W. E. S. O. M. E. Music Programm put together with awesome Music colleagues!

Bach’s Concert for 3 Harpsichord!!! !!!

Hundreds of listeners yesterday at First Presbyterian Church of Caro - Michigan for the first of two concerts with the Bach’s concert for three harpsichords BWV1063.
Next Stop: SUNDAY NOV.20th at 4:30pm in Rochester - St. Paul United Methodist Church.

After studying the part of the first harpsichord — I will call myself a virtuoso! 😂🤣🎈🎈🎈

Today will begin a unique Week 🎈
Friday 18.11. at the First Presbyterian Church of Caro - Michigan and Sunday 20.11. at in Rochester I will perform two unique Concerts.
J Randall and Nicholas Schmelter - Organist will be my “Second and Third in command” with the J.S.Bach’s Concerto for three Harpsichords BWV 1063 in D-minor.
It will be performed on three different awesome Instruments (in colors and structures) built by Knight Vernon Harpsichord Maker.

And even more music will be played.
Accompanied obviously by a perfect quintet of excellent musicians.

Concerts of the next two weeks!!! !!! !!!

Thursday Sept.29th at6:30pm I will perform in the Organ Hall of the Conservatory of Music of Rovigo my first concert in Italy after many years.
Patrizia Boniolo and I will play a program for Harp and Organ.

Saturday Oct.08th at 6pm, I will conduct the Choir and the Orchestra of my church for our 80th Jubilee. This event will be also streamed on our YouTube channel!!!

Yesterday I have been overwhelmed by the amount and different organs belonging to the university of Gothenburg! 😲

But I had to take a picture with the copy of the Cavaille-Coll (copy of “Franck’s organ”) before I began with my first lesson of Improvisation on this magnificent instrument. 😁

It has been not even a week since my enrollment at the University of Gothenburg and here I am preparing not one, not two not three but FOUR concerts! All in this year 2022 !!!
Here I am sitting at my Harpsichord preparing the Bach’s Concert BWV1063 for three Harpsichords - which I am going to play with Nicholas and William J in November 2022! 🤩🤩🤩
My wonderful instrument has been built by a master of this art: William Horn !!!

My musical journey continues in Sweden 🇸🇪 as I registered as a student and began the enrollment process for the: in Master’s Program in Organ at the University of Gothenburg.
I am excited to be a part of and to grow as a musician in one of the world’s most innovative keyboard departments.
