Excited to share that our NAHJ Central Florida president, Valezka Gil, was invited by the Disney team to participate in a panel of local and network journalists to discuss the significance of creating original Spanish content for Hispanic media outlets. She was able to share her expertise as a Hispanic reporter as well as those experiences our members have shared in the past. The special session with Disney World's media relations team today looked into ways to collaborate and work together! 🎥 📝 🌟

NAHJ Central Florida lamenta el fallecimiento de Guillermo Bill Hansen, líder instrumental para la comunidad hispana y de todo Florida Central. Guillermo fue instrumental y guía para nuestro capítulo logrando que miembros de nuestro capítulo recibieran becas estudiantiles a través del Hispanic Heritage Fund. Como publisher y editor del periódico El Osceola Star, fue pieza clave dándole voz y un espacio a la comunidad hispana para dar a conocer noticias y eventos relevantes y trascendentales.

Nos unimos a la comunidad y a su familia orando por el descanso eterno de Guillermo Hansen y continuaremos su legado en pro de la comunidad hispana.
