I started watching JoJo and idk what took me so long, given how popular it is nowadays with its fashion, fanbase, and memes. Lol. (Yes, I know you saw Megan Thee Stallion’s cosplay coz it was so cool!)

I’m also glad to have discovered an existing anime with such a rich cultural impact and distinct, artsy, edgy vibe. It gives a fresh perspective to what I consider as seinen, bc it’s a masculine anime intertwined with feminine themes. I also like how Araki is inspired by Western styles, but the way the characters explain every move with talk-no-jutsu takes you back to its Japanese roots. Such a beautiful and vibrant world to delve into.

They say you can never understand JoJo’s story unless you watch it yourself, and I completely agree with that. I am enjoying everything about it so far. It’s so convoluted, idiotic and funny at the same time, but will defo give you a good time watching.

(My current fave is Joseph Joestar, but I’m still on the 3rd part - Stardust Crusaders, so it might be too early to lock that in, it might change as time progresses.)

ZZZ IS FINALLY HERE. I have to be honest, I had to sit and play it for hours to get into it.

This game is bursting with colours, perky animation and distinct art style. Not to mention, the smoothness of the game itself.

The world is urban and I appreciate that they have made it into the likeness of Japan. You can see a konbini, a ramen house (with a panda) and shops. The NPCs surpised me with their fits, each one is distinct and fun to take pictures with.

Combat wise, I'm still getting the hang of it. They tried to do something cool with the character switching, which makes it more dynamic. Anby's play style is my favorite so far.

It's plot, well, I didn't really pay much attention because THEY HAVE A SKIP BUTTON. The dialogue with Suzie is something that I really enjoyed a lot. She's so cute and should be playable imho. If not, I'll just keep visiting her.

I have to admit, the characters do not appeal to me as much as a bunch of them are either lolis or furries, but if you're into that no judgment lol.

Overall, playing it was a decent experience. I was skeptical at first because it kinda pales in comparison to the other game (👀) but I decided to give it time and I find it enjoyable so far.

Cosmic - Red Velvet Review

Gusto ko lang dumaldal nang mahaba. Short disclaimer, RV fan ako since birth. Jok, since Ice cream cake era. Isa sila sa mga top GGs na paborito ko simula nang mahumaling ako sa KPOP noong 2013/2014.

Anyway, excited ako sa comeback ng RV lalo na nung naglabas sila ng Midsommar coded teaser photos. Understandably, dahil kilala sila sa summer anthems at cult-like concepts, mataas ang expectations ko sa kambak nila.

As always, halos wala akong masabi sa music video/cinematography. Akma naman yung concept sakanila kaso, masyado syang malapit sa Midsommar na parang yun lang yung dahilan kung bakit mo gugustuhing panoorin yung MV. Para talagang kinuha sa Midsommar yung mga scenes tapos dinagdagan na lang nila ng mga weird s**t. Sadly, it fell short and ang lazy ng dating because they have done extraordinary things in the past.

Dahil di ako delulu fan, syempre honest ako sa review na to.

The concept is eyecandy, pero sa musicality nagkakatalo.

Unfortunately, the song isn't that memorable. Messy yung highs and lows in a way that the arrangement doesn't make sense in my brain. The "I'm riding on your rhythm" line was placed there as a hook and a nod to "Feel My Rhythm" but frankly, it didn't help. Sure enough, it sounds like a standard SM song but I wouldn't include it in RV's top songs to date. I didn't get hyped unlike when I first heard Feel My Rhythm, Dumb Dumb, Psycho, etc.

Pero I missed seeing them, parang Diyosa pa rin ang mga anteh at kala mo hindi tumatanda. I'm always happy to see an older gen come back amidst of all the new groups that have been debuting recently.

Ayun lang naman. Sorry na haha. Baka naman magustuhan ko after ilang plays.

Ingat sa mga Job Scams sa Facebook!

Lately, sobrang dami nang mga scammers sa mga job hunting groups sa Facebook.

Here are the red flags to look out for:

1. Too Good to Be True: Kapag may nag-aalok sa'yo ng $1,000 para sa part-time position, mag-ingat ka. Hindi talaga ganyan kadali kumita ng malaking pera.

2. Telegram Secrecy: Minsan, ginagamit ng mga scammer ang Telegram for more discreet communication. Kaya kung sila'y nag-iinsist na sa Telegram lang kayo mag-usap, magduda ka na.

3. Simple Tasks, Hidden Intentions: Maaaring hilingin sa'yo ng scammer na gawin ang simpleng tasks tulad ng pag-review ng restaurant o pag-like sa YouTube page and you would have to use your email address.

4. Phishing Alert: Pagkatapos mong gawin ang mga unang tasks, maaaring hingin sa'yo ng scammer ang iyong bank account details to pay you kunware. Pero sa totoo lang, ito'y para lang manakaw ang iyong sensitive information.

Protektahan ang Sarili:
1. Ask for Email Addresses: Laging maghanap online para malaman kung legit ang email address ng isang negosyo.

2. Spot Posers: Tignan kung ginagamit nila ang stock photos mula sa internet. Ang mga totoong employers ay may tunay na profile. You may also search their names sa Google or Linkedin para extra sure ka.

3. Telegram Block: Kung may nag-iinsist na sa Telegram lang kayo mag-usap, i-block agad.
