Ahed’s mother, Nariman Tamimi, and her 21-year-old cousin were also detained after the confrontation. ⁣

Since October, Israeli forces have increased their detention of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and the use of administration detention to hold Palestinians without charge or trial. ⁣
