A warning to all of us in Weymouth and local areas.
Be careful about drink driving as we are getting close to Christmas and the Police are out there checking on people.

Saturday night I was out for a few drinks and a meal. One thing lead to another and I had a few too many beers and then went onto the JD , finishing with some shots. Not a good idea!

Knowing I was over the limit, I decided to leave my car and took a bus home. Sure enough, I passed a police checkpoint on outskirts of town where they were pulling over drivers and performing breathalyser tests. Because I was in a bus they just waved it past. I arrived home safely and without incident, which was a real surprise as I've never driven a bus before and I am not even sure where I got it from. Now it’s parked outside my house and I don’t know what to do with it!

So, it’s been a while since we were away.
We’re off tomorrow for our Black Friday weekend but……
We’d like some ideas for New Year get away, from 27th December until 1st January. Max distance of 100 miles or 3 hours drive from Weymouth.
