Our Story

Ancient mariners believed sailing to the new world was sailing to the edge of existence, much like how we imagine traveling to a distant planet today. Will our view of outer-s**ce distances shrink in the same way? As technology evolves, yes.

Near Earth expands out from the planet to Near Mars, (1.3-1.4 AUs/close to 198,000,000 km). In fact, Near Earth is a term we have broadened to help illustrate what is actually close by or not close by. Near Earth represents what is important to business and industry. Of course, far out or deep s**ce activities are very exciting, but we keep our content grounded by keeping this page about things nearby.
