Wow, it seems sooooo much longer than 8 months ago that I stopped streaming. Just checking in to see how everyone is doing! I miss you all and hope all is well. Been toying with the idea of a return to game streaming for old Monkeyluck... What do you all think? Should I or Shouldn't I? In the meantime be good to yourself! :)

Long but Important Update you will want to read! One thing to know about me is that while I have a lot of great ideas, I rarely have enough time to do all the things I would like. I am so happy that in September of 2021 I took the leap and started game streaming. My goal was simple, it wasn't to get huge viewership numbers or even generate revenue, but it was to build a community and share our love of gaming hanging out. If you got a few laughs out of my streams, jump scares, shock gloves, Elden Ring death count (624 by the way), and any other of my shenanigans then that was a bonus and mission accomplished! Each of you who have followed or joined any of my streams helped me achieve my goals and I thank you.

It is all of you and each of you that makes it difficult to say, but I need to step away from game streaming. This has been on my mind for a while and I have to prioritize my life and work. Right now I do not have the time to truly commit to the stream and our community to make it the best it can be. If you didn't know, I have a day job that is challenging and requires an ever-changing schedule. Also for several years I have been writing and working with an artist on a comic/graphic novel and other comic projects, all waiting for me to get them published. Finally, during the pandemic, I started a separate FB page Achieving GeekVana!, a place where you can go to geek out on whatever you want. I want to see AGV! taken to the next level but it is going to need more of my focus to get there. So something had to go. MonkeyLuck Gaming was unfortunately the last to come around and I know it is something, if I chose in the future, I could more easily come back to and jump right in again. I don't know if my stepping away will be permanent or if I will return one day.

However, MonkeyLuck Gaming is not gone! You will still see me joining in with other gamers on their streams from time to time such as TrailsofTrials, Baffeties Gaming, Trevelyn and who know maybe even MunkeyPoops Gaming 🤣 (a big thank you to Munkeypoops for all his help in growing the MonkeyLuck Community early on). You can also catch me streaming other content over at Achieving GeekVana regularly.

A special thanks to the streamers that encouraged, supported, inspired, and/or motivated me to start game streaming: Spinal, The World of Amas, RUFF, SilverWitch Streams, Nuggs The Final Girl, The Game Hive, and SoreFeet. I barely have had time to continue supporting their work but hope to use some time I recover to supporting this great group of streamers! Check them out if you haven't!

And a super, super, super thanks again to each of you. I cannot begin to describe what it has meant to me to have had your support and community as we went on this adventure together. I try never to say goodbye or farewell because in the online world our paths will most definitely cross paths again. So until we meet again, Stay Geeky my Friends, Stay Geeky!

Well My fellow Monkey Legions, if you are wondering why my Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales stream from today was deleted, as suspected some of the music created some copyright issues so no more Sunday Spundays :O We will see what I can replace it with moving forward. Stay tuned.

Well 2023 is here and I have been sick with a sinus infection the entire time.... Yay 2023. Anyways, that's why I couldn't stream last night and I won't be tonight either. I mean how many of you really want to watch me cough up my left lung and blow snot on the monitor constantly? Am I right or what?!?!?!

Now for the good news I think I have a new streaming schedule set up that should work well 🤞... I will get it posted on the page hopefully later tonight. Thanks for all the support you give me and I am really sorry I haven't streamed for a while!

Quick Streaming Schedule update: Todays live stream will be later tonight around 8pm MST. I know it's past some of you bedtimes in the east but it's just gonna be a chill gaming session Maybe some Generation Zero to check out new updates, some DBD matches, or w really need to finish The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me :) Hope you can be there even if it's just watching in your bed as you fall asleep LOL (but seriously at least use a blue light filter if you do, I don't want you all becoming insomniacs because you watch me in bed... Although there is nothing wrong with watching me game before you slumber hahahaha)

Still recovering and catching up from all my holiday travels so we will kick off 2023 with my return stream tomorrow probably around 1pm or 2pm MST with at least some Spider-Man: Miles Morales and then on Monday with some DBD. Working on a better schedule that I can stick to better in 2023 so look for that soon! Hope everyone had had a great holiday season and if you go out monkeying around for New Years Eve tonight, please be safe!!! Miss you all!

Baffeties Gaming coming to a stream near you - Tomorrow! As one of the new streamers on the block and part of the Monkeyluck fam show him some love by dropping by the stream tomorrow and also liking and following his page!!!!

Alrighty Baffeties community I am not sure on a time just yet so stay tuned for that but Tomorrow we will be adventuring into some 7 days to die. Never played it before but I will be joined by my best friend my brother from another mother Billy Bob as we try and survive Zombies. Once again I've never played it before so expect alot of dieing as for Bill he has played for awhile he is the Goat when its comes to 7 days to die.
