The 2023 NSU-Argus Award for Excellence in Creative Writing application period is open! The deadline to submit is Feb. 23. Winners will receive a cash prize and the opportunity to participate in a featured reading at this year's LitCon in April. You do not have to be an English major or minor to apply.

If you are an NSU undergraduate student of at least sophomore standing and you write creatively (poems, stories, creative nonfiction, etc.), then you are eligible to apply. See Student Messenger emails for an application and guidelines for more complete information. Questions can be directed to [email protected] or to [email protected]. Follow NSU Creative Writing on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for updates and for information about this year's guest judge.
