Marvel Legendary has so many expansions it’s almost impossible to keep up! My favorite so far has been the Guardians of the Galaxy, I really like the shards and what they add to the game. What hero combo is your favorite? -Tim

I always have a great time playing Alchemist! My favorite part is trying to figure out the potions! It can get extremely stressful but in a good way. I highly recommend this game! -Tim

Everdell with the Pearl book expansion! I like Everdell a lot but I expected more from this expansion. I just felt like the Pearl book locations were underwhelming.

I almost forgot how much I like Concordia! The cards you buy during the game also determine how you score points and I love that in this! -Tim

I’ve been play Nemo’s War solo recently and it’s pretty good! It can be a bit random with the event cards and rolling the dice but I still enjoyed my plays of it and I recommend checking it out! -Tim

After two games of Lost Ruins of Arnak I can safely say I like the game a lot! The first few rounds of the game seem to fly by but the last few rounds you can really combine thing together! What are your thoughts on this game? -Tim

Happy Halloween! My spooky game this year is Nemesis by .realms If you want to play Aliens the game this is it! Your running around the ship trying to survive and completing your objective. Your crew members might be working against you so you need to watch what’s happening! -Tim

I think we have a new favorite kids game in our house! I picked up Zombie Kidz Evolution this past weekend for great price because it was on the ding and dent shelf.
I have mostly played with my 5 year old and after every game he wasn’t to play again! We are working together to defend the school from zombies. On your turn you roll and bring in more zombies. You then move and defeat zombies in your room. If you and a friend are in the same space as a gate you high five and lock the gate! Once you have all four gates locked you win!
The past two days we have played 10 games and after a set amount of games played you get to open a secret envelope that slowly adds rules to the game. I highly recommend this game with younger kids! -Tim

Blackout: Hong Kong is really good! I really enjoy how the cards are played and how you get the cards back into your hand. It’s doesn’t get played a lot in our group but it definitely deserves more plays. -Tim

I almost forgot how good Teotihuacan: City of Gods is! I really enjoy the dice movement around the board and how you will use the dice for you actions! There is a lot going on in the game but it’s always fun! -Tim

I tried Escape Plan solo and I got crushed! I was able to escape the city but I didn’t score well. In a solo game there are two different bots that move around the map that help close business and affect the board. -Tim

I was really surprised how much I liked Cooper Island! There’s a lot going on in the game but one of the coolest things is how your island works. If you haven’t tried this out I recommend it! -Tim

I wasn’t sure what to expect with Pax Pamir. The game definitely has a unique look!
I had fun playing and I can see the game getting better with more plays because you know more about how the cards work and how to use different actions.
The frustrating thing about the game was not being able to do certain actions when I wanted to do them. Or if I was looking for a certain type of card but it wouldn’t show up. -Tim

Lorenzo il Magnifico is one of the games that when I play it I have a great time but it doesn’t get picked as much as it should. I first played it at origins in 2019 and have only played it three times.
It has a lot of thing I like in a game and it does the dice placement / worker placement well. Have you played this? What are your thoughts?

The last time I played War of The Ring by .games was 5 years ago. We just played it last night and it’s still one of my favorites! I just hope it doesn’t take another 5 years before I play again! -Tim

I have a confession..... I didn’t like Marco Polo at all! I did give #2 a try and I actually liked it!
The first one made it very tight with recourses and I would find myself not moving at all and just completing contracts that I found boring. #2 fixes that problem! Recourses were not as tight and moving felt easier. You also need to move so you can pick up different contracts.
So in my opinion number 1 not good and number 2 good and I would recommend trying it!

A few weeks ago I picked up Under Falling Skies by and it’s really good! I like the puzzle of placing the dice.
You have five dice to place but you can only place one dice per column. When you place the dice any enemy ship above will move a number of spaces equal to the dice placed. It definitely makes it interesting because you might want the high rolls but it will speed up the enemy ships.
If you like solo games I highly recommend this one. -Tim
