Radio Voice Italia officially salutes "National Radio Day" again tonight as yesterday was not a broadcast day for the show. Inasmuch as many broadcasters observed the event yesterday by pulling what they deemed to be of historical value or just plain interesting ...... we are only going back to August 23, 2023. "Dominika Zamara" was a first time guest on RVI and is now a monthly recurring guest. She has been gracious in supporting Radio Voice Italia with her immeasurable gift of her soprano voice and her friendship for the past year, short of 2 days. We feature her debut interview again tonight for "National Radio Day" .... one day later.

Also "Mario Lanza" gets bumped to 2nd place tonite and "Ennio Morricone" closes out the show.

Presented in memory of Dr. Francis D'Amico, World Class Composer Pianist from West Philadelphia. Frank's composition "Fanfare & Elegy" made its World debut during the Americana concert and is featured here from the CD recorded on location & released in 2004.
Fanfare & Elegy was dedicated to the victims of September 11, 2001. Francis was a personal friend and recurring guest on RVI since 2013. Ocean City Pops Orchestra Artistic Director: William Scheible.

His contributions to Wireless Radio are enormous which include First Transatlantic Wireless Broadcast - World's First International Shortwave Broadcast Station ...."Vatican Radio" -
his Marconi Transmitter on "The Titanic"
saved the lives of hundreds of people -
and in 1902 during a voyage on the American Liner "PHILADELPHIA" he demonstrated 'daylight effect' - relative to Wireless communication
