So we know if what you are calling Self-Love is Selfish in Nature it's either Escapism, Emotional Avoidance, or Hiding to Protect your Image (Love of Self!).
We learned that on the Contrary Loving yourself is learning to give yourself the things that we put responsibility on others to give us which in turns ruins many of our relationships.
So is Self-Love actually a Selfish Act. No.
But the answer lies in a better way to ask the Question - "𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐏𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐞𝐥𝐟-𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞?".
