Something my dad taught me that has stuck with me is this exact concept.

It's never going to be the perfect time.

What are you waiting for? Because I will tell you that "the right time" is not the actual excuse....

So what is the real excuse?

What improvements can make TODAY that maybe you want to wait until later to do?

3 Non-negotiables

~Gratitude...if you can't acknowledge what you have, how can you expect to get more?

~Plenty of Sleep (but not too much) --- quick story here. I spent a couple of years convinced that the amount of sleep I NEEDED was just based on my mindset around sleep. These thoughts were heavily influenced by Hal Elrod (The Miracle Morning...which has very many good tips) but he ended up getting cancer several years into only get a consistent 4 hours of sleep....I'm not saying it caused his cancer but it does make me question that choice. I've come to my own conclusion that AT LEAST 7 hours is great for me and my mind. But more than 8 can be dangerous.

~Subconscious Work - this has looked a lot of different ways for me. But the more I am intentional about spending time reprogramming my subconscious, the better I feel all around. My new favorite method is getting to my center in less than a minute.

I'm a working mom.

I used to be ashamed. I used to worry I wasn't doing the best for my kiddos. I worked tirelessly to get to a point where I could be home with them.

But the raw truth is...I'm healthier as a working mom.

And I tried working from home...and let me tell you something. I was a worse employee AND a worse mom.

So my goal is not to work from home 24/7. The idea of that gives me major anxiety😅.

But my goal is more time freedom and more financial freedom.

The ability to go on vacation without having to worry about something going wrong that only I can address (anyone else read The 4 Hour Work Week???)

The time to volunteer how I want. The refugee shelter in my town has been tugging on my heart. But I simply do not have the time in my schedule right now. So I just get all the emails and know that someday soon I'll be able to sign up to go help.

But I can't do those things if nothing changes. I can accept that I'll never get to do those things. Or I can take accountability and make changes to make them happen.

All the change is coming ✌️. And I'm so glad I have some of the best mentors to navigate me. ❤
