Over the 26 years I've been publishing a magazine (Women On Top & Beverly Hills Times) I've been blessed to be surrounded by incredibly smart and witty women and men who rise above the "norm" to tell it like it is in a way that promotes inner strength, determination and a mindset to overcome challenge and fear. Translation: Instead, of running from what intimidates or frightens us.... we stand strong in the belief that we can and we will take care of ourselves. Sometimes that might feel like an insurmountable hill to climb... but the more we stand up for ourselves... the less others can push us around. Bottomline: If we don't own our power... we will never get what we want in life.

It's HOT outside and I'm not just talkin' weather. The vibe is boiling over with people raging over the political storm consuming our lives. How about we keep in mind that beating each other up verbally and physically while building walls between us doesn't get us what we want. What might help change what we believe isn't working is to get off the couch and VOTE for who/what we want.
