Cruel Machine Booking is excited to welcome the Berlin based Club Night TIQ Berlin and their residents Dj Neue K (TIQ Berlin), Dj Lichene and DJ Hanzel

“Established in 2010, TIQ is a club night which has achieved a cult status, being one of the most long lived, authentic and truly avant-garde events among Berlin's contemporary clubbing scene.
Loved and supported by different alternative tribes, hard to pigeonhole in a particular scheme or genre, the party follows a very coherent yet constantly evolving idea: rigid, cold, rough-edge sounds with the drum machines slapping hard like a metronome.
TIQ events from the very beginning had a great impact on the demanding Berlin nightlife due to excellent collaborations with international multimedia artists and thanks to its dark both colourful, often eccentric, audience.
No matter if the sounds are coming from the past, the present or the future TIQ resident djs are devoted to select the best, so called "Quadratic Wave".
Quadratic-Wave is a word game and a concept from sound physics: the best way to catch the idea of Quadratic Wave it’s to dance to it. The best way to dance it is by being focused and confined in a square as Die Tödliche Doris sang in their NO Wave anthem Tanz im Quadrat:
"Wir tanzen im Viereck, wir tanzen konzentriert".
TIQ boasts a long history of collaborations and partnerships with major events among the European underground electronic scene [just to name a few: Berghain (Berlin),Tenax club (Firenze), 0T301 (Amsterdam),Cafè Central (Bruxelles), Electrowerkz (London), Gothic Pogo Festival (Leipzig), Kalabalik Festival (Sweden), Fusion Festival (Germany)].”
