Still playing around with those lollie photos. This time using post to give them a bit of a pep up.

Been struggling to find the energy to actually get into the media projects I've got planned.

Then I saw a box of jelly sweets we have and I thought, screw it lets see what we can do.

Nothing fancy, not big lighting setup, just a camera, a 50mm lens and a flash.

It was when I took todays image. This flower was reaching for the sun hoping to become a nice big juicy berry (except of course, strawberries aren't actually berries!)

I managed to snag a shot of this beautiful a year or two ago up in Lithgow.

There had been some "discussion" a pair of Rosellas and a King Parrot over who got priority access to the seed bell, and here we can see one of the Rosellas getting in after the had had its fill.

Despite the background this ISN'T a winter shot :) Rather the bed was covered in white pebbles.

Not sure exactly what sort of flower this is but my eye was caught by the contrast between the buds and the pebbles.
