Sure, my floors might have a little dust on them and my stockpot is stained.
Sure, I could spend my days scouring and scrubbing and mopping and dusting
OR, I can travel all 50 U.S States and explore bumpy backroads.
I can travel 10 countries and meet the people, eat the food, revel in the history.
I can hike miles and miles into the open desert and marvel at the Saguaro.
I'll take my full life over a clean house any day of the week.

I put up a little Christmas Tree this year and I'm loving it. It feels so festive in here.
I also love the history of the Christmas Tree and that has roots that reach far back into Paganism: "Long before the advent of Christianity, plants and trees that remained green all year had a special meaning for people in the winter. Just as people today decorate their homes during the festive season with pine, spruce, and fir trees, many ancient peoples hung evergreen boughs over their doors and windows. In many countries it was believed that evergreens would keep away witches, ghosts, evil spirits, and illness."
