So I am enjoying the final hours of my vacation. It's kind of a hybrid state, where I feel as much relaxed as energized for a busy summer ahead. Well, difficult to decide upon the path for this edition, hence it is somewhat ambient, but on the more progressive edge with twists and rhythms. What do you think makes ambient music ambient? Fusion of Elements, the cooperation project of Syndromeda with Sensory++ releases a new album at SynGate Records on Friday, the 7th of June

The album "Bigger than Us" captures the topic of AI in a great composition.

von Haulshoven is a project by Dutch artist Egbert Dus since more than 4 decades now. 4 of his great ambient albums are available from SynGate Records All other albums and projects have left all platforms during the last two years, as the artist wanted to leave this all behind him, which really was a pity.
But now he decided to return with an opus of 3 albums as the "ambiland trilogy". This trilogy will see the light of the day at SynGate Records this Friday, the 2nd of February (Bandcamp Friday) from 9 a.m. (CET)

Now available at SynGate Records: The latest album of Syndromeda "Liftoff to Infinity"

The music is quite different to what you are used to hear from Syndromeda, more melodic, more Berlin School and a trip to ambient spheres in space. Something to sit back, relax and liftoff! And yes, despite this new sounds its still definitively anything, Syndromeda fans will recognize this music as another fine compostion of Danny Budts on his familiar and some new synthesizers.

Thaneco & DASK have released their new album "Ships in the Sky today.

The world is full of tales about alien sightings. Thaneco and DASK created an album about this phenomenon. The electronic music, partly dramatic, partly dark and then with easy sequences describes the different emotions to be expected facing an encounter with "Ships in the Sky"

Besides this, DASK created a stunning world of huge ships over urban and rural futuristic sceneries as an appealing cover art work that alone is worth to grab this album.

A good friend of mine asked me to support a release from the Stonker label for a good cause and here we go:

Andy Bloyce, Mac of Bionight and Danny Budts (Syndromeda)

The album title is "Polyphonic Messier Objects"

Stonker Productions was set up by Tony Sawford and Andy Bloyce in 1998. It’s being resurrected in memory of Tony, who died unexpectedly in Dec 2021. Tony gave a lot to the UK EM scene for nearly 30 years; he loved the music and he was a genuinely nice person. All money goes directly to Addenbrooke's hospital. Tony visited it regularly and thought himself lucky to have it local to him.

"Auf der Suche nach der verlorenen Stille" (In search of the lost Silence)

A story about the search of the lost silence that could not really be found. This album is not another meditative soundcarpet to find your inner peace. The musicians instead work on the question, if there is any silence at all in our society full of civilization garbage and background noise everywhere. Even despite understanding, no absolute silence is possible at all (think to John Cages self-experiment in an anechoic room) any attempt to find this in the nature is reduced to absurdity.
With this the album presents sound images with field recordings as well as calm passages which are interrupted by commenting and contrasting elements. Be open for surprises during the search.
