Gigs Out started in the not so sleepy English market town of St Ives in Cambridgeshire in 2010 and slowly and surely spread across East Anglia. In 2011 a pilot gig guide was launched on the Avalon Event Support website and then grew to list thousands of local gigs on the Gigs Out website each year, with over 1000 venues listed and over 800 Acts! There were 10s of 1000s of visits/page views to the
website. In 2019 our gig-goers were starting to use social media much more than the website. Excellent online gig guides like Grapevine Live provide great info on what’s on so we stopped using the website and concentrated on building a local gig lovers community and sharing events on our social media pages :)
Our Facebook group is the mainstay of Gigs Out now with thousands of followers. We also run the East Anglian Festival Network www.eafn.co.uk and have pages to let you know what Festivals are on across East Anglia (in Cambridgeshire, Essex Norfolk and Suffolk)....Around 700 Festivals, Fairs and Fundays per year in the four counties. Did you know that in East Anglia we have around 4 Million people across the 6000 square miles of our 4 counties (6% of the nations population - that must mean there's an awful lot of gig-goers in our area :)
Meet us in the sunshine and dance all weekend in Earlham Park this August. Our 2-day festival passes are now on sale so you can enjoy both days of incredible live music, talks and panels from our friends at .

Our Story
The Gigs Out mission to unite our local gig-going community started in the not so sleepy English market town of St Ives in Cambridgeshire.and is slowly and surely spreading across East Anglia. From Nov 2011 a pilot gig guide was launched on the Avalon Event Support website, one town and a dozen or so venues. The Guide became very popular, extending across Cambridgeshire and www.gigsout.com was developed and went live on 1 Feb 2013. Gigs Out now has a solid user base of regular website and social media users across the whole of East Anglia. This has been possible due to local networking and the combined will of all involved.
We have over 1600 venues listed and over 1100 Artists! There are 10s of 1000s of visits/page views to the website - it's great that so many of you use it :)
We have pages to let you know what Festivals are on across East Anglia (in Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk)....Around 300 Festivals per year!
Did you know that in East Anglia we have around 2.5 Million people across the 5000 Square Miles - that must mean threre's an awful lot of gig-goers in our area - we hope that this guide is useful :)
Our Gigs Out page is very popular, please join our community:

All dates and information we publish on Gigs Out are subject to change. We endeavour to make Gigs Out information accurate but we would advise checking with venues before travelling in case any information has changed.
