Excerpt from "Homestuck: The Dubiously Unofficial Novelization"
NOTE: If What Pumpkin or Viz Media LLC wish for me to cease development of this fanmade novelization, I will gladly do so, this is simply for fun and I intend to not have any legal troubles.
A heartbeat amidst the dark, a massive, checkered battlefield flashes into view, some would say it is a majestic sight, but to our fair heroine, Jade Harley, this is the vision of a dark future to come- on this very battlefield, black and white chess-people battle, walking assault platforms wreak havoc on enemy barricades, tearing them down as though they were paper on a wall, paratroopers rappel from transport vehicles in the midst of this heated war.
Jade's heartbeat rises, feeling immensely stressed, scared of the sights of this brutal war- "What is this?? Where am I? Hello?!" she says, fearful for her very life, knowing her mortality. suddenly, just moments later, red lightning arcs across the battlefield, into the dark sky, spreading everywhere, figures unfortunate enough to be in its path are torn into bloody pieces.
"Oh god oh god oh god... what's happening? Why...why is...", Jade says, her breath shaking as she spoke. At the center of this hellish lightning storm, an obsidian figure holds aloft a bright ring, which releases this devastation. "I remember this! This is a memory. A memory of...how I died?", jade says, in her own mind, as though experiencing a premonition, perhaps even a paradoxical memory. Jade's own heartbeat is racing- in her peripheral vision, she catches a glimpse of wings, a sword, and a glowing scepter, her view fading to white, just barely catching the blue watermark of a child's silhouette.
Suddenly, the hearbeat stops -
"This is only the first time I died" Jade says, her voice echoing, tonally somber. amidst the dark, two, strikingly emerald green eyes pierce through the darkness, these eyes belong to none other than our heroine, Jade Harley (16), a raven-haired girl with white dog ears! She's cloaked in a stygian black dress that emits a green glow of power. she stands on the arm of a spiral galaxy, winding inward like a yellow brick road. At the center, there is a hand drawn stage, which appears beside an obscure figure- seeing the stranger, Jade suddenly brightens "Hello?! Hello there!" Jade says, the figure and jade scream simultaneously scream, the figure dives behind the stage's emerald green curtains as Jade runs down the spiral.
