I’ve watched myself transition from being a maximalist to a minimalist over the years, both for home decor and fashion.

A minimalist home looks spacious and screams clean and peaceful. Minimalist fashion screams effortless but still elegant.

I’ve come to believe less is truly more. I still love a well put together maximalist space. I just don’t think I could live in a maximalist space for 365 days….you get me?🙈

𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐭𝐡

I’m still struggling with getting back into the swing of things. Lately, I’ve been struggling with captions, creating content and interacting with people on IG. I tried putting together a list of content ideas but I’m not feeling motivated at all.

My experience these past few weeks made me realize that I could put in my 100 into something and all of that could be gone in a blink of an eye. It’s crazy. I’m trying to be optimistic but another part of me is like “Christianah, you could wake up tomorrow morning IGless.”

Now I have to go back to the board and re-strategize; to start something that’s out of my comfort zone and the thought of it makes me sick already 🥺

How do you get past the fear of getting out of your comfort zone?

I used to love buying sneakers. I stopped buying them (well, I reduced the quantity I buy 😅) because I never wore them. It’s not because I didn’t like them but I hated getting them dirty or creased up.

I know some people like the dirty brown look. But for me, if the sneakers are white, I want them white white.

Let’s address the elephant in the room first...shall we?

I woke up few weeks ago to my IG account deleted. Why? How did it happen? I do not know. I didn’t do anything differently but some people speculated that my page probably got reported.

I still don’t want to believe people can be that bitter to do such but oh well. Your girl is back.

To all the people who noticed my page was deleted, sent me numerous messages and voice notes, checked in on me, shared my new pages, researched how to get back a deleted page and sent me these info each day, I’m still short of words. You all outdid yourselves. To say I appreciate all your kind gestures will be an understatement. Thank you so much 🙏🏾🙏🏾♥️
