Make Things Happen.

Beh Ta Han Studio was founded in 2011 by a bunch of high school students who wanted to make a film themselves after PMR (has since been replaced by PT3). With almost zero knowledge and experience, they started working on it anyway and managed to make the film a reality through self-learning and trial and errors.

Since then, Beh Ta Han Studio had produced several short films and a 40-minute horror film You’re Next (2013). One of the short films The Unsolved Mystery (2014) even won a national award in a short film contest (Student category, 2nd prize).

Besides producing short films, Beh Ta Han Studio was also involved in event coverage (photography and/or videography), corporate and promotional video productions, and many more. We love to explore and experience different types of possible collaborations!

Beh Ta Han Studio was officially registered as a company on 2nd of May, 2018 to carry out its business legally. We have this motto “Make Things Happen” where our goal is to create things no matter if the idea is absurd or there are a lot of limitations. We believe that to make something difficult happen, first we have to start by doing it, one step at a time. We will eventually overcome the difficulties by start doing something rather than wait and do nothing.

People love stories, especially interesting ones. Therefore, businesses can attract customers by telling a story and convey their message though the medium. This can be done in almost any form: Short film, photograph, advertisement, logo design, social media, business card etc.

Beh Ta Han Studio strives to be a great storyteller, both for ourselves and our clients. We are here to help people to tell their stories. Let’s make it happen. Together.

What we had done recently:

Long term collaboration: Promotional video, event video coverage, interview video for a Nail Art and Makeup Academy based in Melaka.

Three-day filming of a corporate video for a Chinese Association in Ipoh, Perak. The filming covered several locations which were Penang, Taiping, Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur and Melaka.

Wedding day video coverage for a married couple, and video editing for playing at wedding dinner on the same day.
