👉👉Did you know that way back in the day,the Monroe street bridge had a trap door where they would dump the city’s garbage into the river?? They had to stop when the pile became so large that it blocked the flow of the river… I guess there were several bridges through out Spokane where this took place.

The Spokane House Interpretive Center, located at 13501 Nine mile Rd., is a favorite of ours and a really neat place to check out if you want a glimpse into the lives of the native people and settlers of this area and how they lived.
