Alternative AND Rock Variety? We have made an update to Alternate Rock Variety today. You will hear our new feature and expansion of the format called THE AND. We always brought you all you current, fresh and EVERYTHING in between Alternative and nothing is changing with that! However we did take some time from normal programming to RESHUFFLE all our categories for the station with better definitions so you are getting all your favorite Alt Rock. From time to time we like to sneak in some format breakers and now we are better equipped to do with the re-shuffle. The And will expand into some classic non alternative - rock titles and non alternative pop titles. Tune in NOW to hear Alternative Rock Variety for great alt rock AND then some.

We are aware you have a lot of choices for Alternative Rock. Isn’t great that you click on one of those options and you need NOT continue your search? ? Most channels select 400 titles if you are lucky and rotate them and call that variety.

Alternative Rock Variety evolves all the time by giving you current trending Alt Rock and the freshest new acts immediately when we can get them added. We pull from the early days of Alt Rock to today with all the staples in between. We do not steer away from favorites forgotten about at other outlets. This is why we still have a nice following after all this time through ups and downs of our channels.

If it’s been awhile you should stop by Megashuffle.com and give a listen to Alternative Rock Variety for yourself and hear the difference.

We are bringing back in the near future our Library shows where we take an hour and devote it to a particular part of our format starting soon on our new Sunday schedule.

MEGASHUFFLE has been here for you (off & on) for 18 years now this month Ad free. Alternative Rock Variety was introduced as MEGASHUFFLE.com – The Variety Station playing Alternative of the time (Audioslave, Amy Winehouse, Killers, and KT Tunstall) with pop from Pink, Maroon 5 and with classic rock from Pink Floyd, Ozzy, and Led Zeppelin.
You know the channel now as Alternative Rock Variety playing anything Alternative Rock from the seventies to six months from now in time. Lately, we have been introducing more Fresh Shuffle titles from around the world with decades of Alternative Rock Variety.
MEGASHUFFLE expanded in 2009 with a Top 40 Remix station playing boring Top40 titles with hot remixes of them until recently. We switched All Hit Remixes to “The EDM Megashuffle”. It plays Remixes, DJ Favorites, and Electronic Dance MEGASHUFFLES of today to back of the crates. Good Top40 tracks to use for the format of All Hit Remixes weren’t there and why we changed it up.
As we acknowledge the anniversary of MEGASHUFFLE, this post is to remind you that we are here for you to check out. We provide the channel on an Ad-free platform for you and if you can remember at some point to provide us with your FEEDBACK from our website menu item called Feedback, that would be great. If you are hearing ads using the vessel you are using, it’s not us.
The future is the future. Who knows. Just enjoy the channels as is now until it can’t be brought to you.
