Synthwave lovers and friends, mark your calendars for June 5th, as we'll have two very nice offerings on vinyl.

First up is Veilpiercer, the collaborative effort of RDMR and NMSHR, both known for their work in the influential post-punk/dark-rock entity Rope Sect. However, Veilpiercer operates in a distinct, more abstract vacuum. Shifting away from concrete settings, the project explores an otherworldly sense of isolation, blending "crime-like" undertones with a calm, drifting darkness.

Pressed in an edition of 125 vinyl: 100 on heavy splatter and 25 on neon fog smokey vinyl.

NEUROPA RECORDS is proud to present DANIEL DELUXE’s Ghostrunner original soundtrack on CD & vinyl 2LP format.

For over a decade now, DANIEL DELUXE has been a prolific force in the synthwave scene, especially focusing on the “outrun” subgenre where ‘80s sci-fi takes a noir turn. Across his work, he’s exhibited a flair for cyberpunk, so it’s no surprise that DELUXE has provided soundtracks for a number of video games. Of them, 2020’s Ghostrunner is perhaps his apex. Across its sprawling 20-track landscape, DELUXE explores atmospheres equal parts mysterious and murderous, with beats evaporating and kickstarting with sublime drama; everything feels tangible and indeed ghostly simultaneously. Ghostrunner as a whole weaves a heady, heavy spell; while there are “hits” across that landscape, it’s the totality of that sonic experience that makes the soundstrack such an engaging, idiosyncratic experience. With nods to the classic French electro on which he was raised as well as forerunners John Carpenter and Hans Zimmer, DANIEL DELUXE’s Ghostrunner is truly titled!

At last, ADON’s first full-length arrived in the form of Adon, elegantly self-titled. NEUROPA immediately sought to release the record worldwide on both CD and vinyl, with expanded deluxe layout. And for good reason: ADON’s opening salvo is a heat-seeking missile and massive wall of gleaming chrome alike, an example of “blackened death metal” that honors the full potential of such an appellation, and very simply a very superlative display of songwriting acumen and pummeling intensity.

ADON are a black / death metal duo hailing from America, helmed by lifelong friends guitarist Nath and vocalist Æthelwulf II. They found solid footing in late 2022 with the addition of session drummer James Stewart (Decapitated, ex-Vader).

Aesthetic signposts are there, to be sure – prime Necrophobic, Lord Belial, and Naglfar to Thorns’ lone album, post-Rebel Extravaganza Satyricon, and the Norwegian Zykon – but boundless in inspiration and bringing a distinctly American air to proceedings, ADON are undoubtedly on their way to conquering the underground with Adon. What could’ve been one of the “best-kept secrets” is now being released in a worldwide edition: immerse thyself in its alluring “Æther”!
