“The ADCC Submission Fighting World Championship is an international submission grappling competition, organised by the Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC).[2] The inaugural tournament was held in Abu Dhabi, UAE in 1998

Competitors can only participate after winning ADCC trials or by invitation. While most athletes are primarily from Brazilian jiu-jitsu, it is open to competitors from any grappling style. ADCC is considered the most prestigious submission grappling tournament in the world, and is commonly referred to as “the Olympics of grappling”.

The 2022 edition took place in front of 13,000 fans in attendance at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas. In 2024 it will be held 17-18 August at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.” - Wikipedia

About the instructor:

“Kelsey is currently a brown belt under Chad Bingham on team Alliance and trains out of Precision Jiu Jitsu Academy in Sacramento, CA.

She is an IBJJF NoGi World Champion as well as a multi-time IBJJF World Master Champion and IBJJF Pan Am Champion in the Gi. She is a guard player through and through and is affectionately known by her team as the Triangle Trap Queen (for good reason). As a successful competitor, she strives to teach fundamental techniques that are effective and successful across all levels of jiu jitsu and loves to focus on improving the mindset behind planning for competition.”
