This season was an immensely gratifying year for fans of HUGE, as the team went 4-0 during the qualifiers and remained undefeated until the championship match. While they didn't win the nut this time around, they delivered an incredible season of fights and what many are calling the best championship finale performance ever.

For six seasons, Jamison Go and the team behind SawBlaze - BattleBot has worked tirelessly to upgrade, improve, and hone their incredible hammersaw machine. In WCVII, that dedication paid off, delivering one of the greatest performances across perhaps the greatest season of BattleBots ever.

HyperShock - fresh off their win from Amazon re:MARS - had a tough schedule this year, going up against top contenders in SawBlaze, Whiplash, End Game, and Claw Viper. The bot looked as scary as ever and went into the Round of 32 with an 18 seed. After getting past Lucky -- spoiler alert -- HyperShock fell in the Round of 16 after a quick roof kiss courtesy of Riptide.

Will is officially our most frequent guest on Behind the Bots - with his first time on the show dating back to June 2019! What questions would you like to ask him? Let us know in the comments and we may ask your question on this week's episode!

Send in your questions for Grant and James Cooper, builders of Team Robo Challenge - Spectre & Quantum! Quantum returned to BattleBots for the first time since 2019, and after going 4-0 in the regular season, clearly didn't miss a beat. (Round of 32 Spoilers ahead) Sadly, their undefeated run came to an end after losing to Ribbot last Thursday.

Quantum is a stunning, beautifully machined robot - and proof that crushers can be a dominant design at the heavyweight level.

Such a great episode! And congrats to Lucy for winning the 30-pound division this past weekend at NHRL!

Check out the Behind the Bots podcast S7E15 to hear from Lucy about her first season as a captain and driver on Battlebots. Lucy talks about her work in Battlebots, in NHRL, and even her Ph.D. research building robotic prosthetic ankles.

"It's okay to try crazy ideas. It is okay for the ideas not to work, and it's okay if your robot gets destroyed in the ring. That is how we learn," is just a bit of Lucy's advice and experience that she shares on the podcast. Check it out through the link in our bio!

Evan‘s drive style is fast, aggressive, controlled, and absolutely brutal. And while his heavyweights have been less successful on BattleBots, we saw a glimpse of what’s possible this past Thursday, in his match against Overhaul.
