My Little Journey
When I was in high school, I took a Spanish class. And in that class we had to make a cooking video (https://youtu.be/nBoVhWkFWpM). As simple as it was, the process of editing that video piqued my interest in video production. From that point, I started a YouTube channel about my passion at that time: technology. Taking my inspiration from some of the biggest tech YouTube channels, I started going at it.
Then after a two year break in Buenos Aires, Argentina, I decided to continue this endeavor. But a few months in, I ran out of ideas; no more videos. Because I didn’t have any sponsors that would send me stuff to review, I bought everything I reviewed. And I couldn’t keep buying new technology just to make a video about it. So, Tech With Zed (my previous channel) died without ever really being alive.
A few months after burning out, I had the idea to re-name and re-brand my channel to a more catchy name. Being a skinny person, I decided to embrace that aspect of my life and make it part of my channel. Here’s the Skinny was born (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJXMW30L2_UhkVWKYtsCojA/). With this idea, new possibilities were created and new horizons set. I invested in new gear, a new camera, and some stuff to get me started again. And here I am taking photos, making videos, and growing my channel. Yes, the growth is still small, but everyone starts somewhere.
