SARNARSCHOURT RECORDS was founded in Sarnthein and has its origins in the heart of the italian alps. The name derives from the magic mountain range near the birth place of the net- label. ch the plateau you find yourself in an enchanting surrounding that seems to be the landscape of a far away planet, almost moonlike: crystal clear mountain lakes in different sizes and bizzare stone sculptures lead your mind into a fairy tale like environment you can rarely find somewhere else. When you reach the top you can find spectacular views of the mighty glaciers and mountains nearby. For sure this was an inspiration to associate the name with our label...
It all began with Johnny aka Dj NINCADA and Obi & Tobo aka DJ FIDIBUS. After first contact with psy trance in 2004 and visiting several parties and international festivals they discovered their passion for this kind of music and lifestyle and soon became Djs playing for friends. They had strong retentive from their friends and so the crew grew constantly. Daniel aka DjMENSION aka ELEGY aka 2SPIRALS (nowadays Panzar Records/Ovnimoon Records member) joined the crew and that very moment nobody could imagine that he was on the go to become a future highlight in the international progressive trance scene. Soon Alex aka Dj EL SAMIR and Benni aka SOLARVIBE joined the team and later on formed the duo M-BR(i)OS blasting positive psychedelic night time grooves into the atmosphere. The also consists of a very creative psy- deco art Team and many supporters that love to create psychedelic blacklight atmospheres with some very psychedelic backdrops and string arts in different shapes and sizes. They realized quickly that the playground of a psytrance label is all over the universe so they started organizing parties from the early days on in the region of south tyrol and later on also in the nearby regions. The first parties were organized in family style in the alps together with the (CLUB RADIO TSCHERNAI). Soon they become legendary and so the local scene grew and more and more djs, fans and overall support came up. Dj GOANI, TINTIFAX aka SHANTIFAX, TOM TURBO, CALIGO, IRRSINN aka ITEM, THE ANTIKER aka ZPM, SYNTHETIKA and many more just to name a few. All of them still in trance since the early days (1999).
& became soon the biggest underground trance events in the region attracting also international trancers and the team now consisting of more than 25 people, got what they "asked" for. In 2008 the spirits guided them to organize a legendary 3 day psy and art festival named . It was held in a stunning mountainous location with a fabulous chill out tent with proper and a huge camping area for the intergalactic family. The gathering featured some international artists like KLOPFGEISTER, DIGICULT M-THEORY, SONIC SPECIES, ALTERNATIVE CONTROL, MALICE IN WONDERLAND, HIGHKO and many local heroes that let the dancefloor tremble and set a bookmark for the national psy trance scene. After the big success of the first edition it was organized also in 2009 and 2010, and so for three consecutive years several people from all over europe came to celebrate life and share the vibe. After some years the full on positive vibes attracted also djs and producers from the northern and the central regions of Italy, so the connection with the crew from was established and many performances in northern and central Italy were on the go. Dj NINCADA and FIDIBUS became members of the VELENO MUSIC CREW and from then to now they had several blasts at countless parties in Italy, Austria and Thailand. The label also invited international acts such as Relativ, Via Axis and Sonic Species to entertain the crowd. In 2010 DJ TINTIFAX started the SHANTIFAX LIVE project. The experienced multi genre producer creates ethno ambiental, downtempo- chillgressive tracks mixing digital and analog sound production to make you either dance or chill, as you prefer. In his live sets he plays the guitar and also live Didgeridoo is part of the performance. He released several albums and has also a track on VISIONARY SHAMANICS RECORDS in collaboration with the ukrainian artist ART IMAGINATION. In 2011 DjPARVATRIX aka ANGRYTONE had the idea to unite the powers and release the first compilation with some of the SarnarSchourt label artists involved called . Several releases under the name mastered by HECTOR OVNIMOON, ELEGY and FOBI (GREEN WIZARD RECORDS) on EKTOPLAZM.COM fallowed. Including tracks from international artists like ELEGY, FOBI, SILLY TWITT, CAVEMAN, PSY-MR., EKTOSIDE, SHANTIFAX, ZERO POINT MODULE (ZPM) and many more they are appreciated by the community and have been played at parties all over the globe. After a while more and more local artists such as MOMBASA, BIOSPIN, NEUROSYNTAX, BIOSYNTAX, PURPLE SUNRAY and NALP joined the Nowadays some of them live in Italy, Austria and Germany. By the end of 2016 Ivi aka Johnny Anubhava joined the Team and began to set down the history of the label and some of the timeless highlights. Together as a team now they are sharing news and informations about the label and promote artists, releases and events. The aim of is to connect artists and electronic music lovers from all over the universe caught into trance to enjoy the cosmic dance together. The musical resources range from ambiental downtempo- chillgressive vibes to blasting harmonic vibrations with groovy, organic, dark-night attributes to mind blowing Hi- Tech sounds.
