Reply to I’m sorry the bottom went slightly off I was trying to keep out of the camera view so it was a bit awkward.

Reply to I wanted to get this out sooner but life had other plans! Don’t forget you can change the colour of your bolt to match the leather if brass isn’t your style! 1. Faux leather 2. Nuts and bolts 3. Pencil and ruler 4. Clamp and drill 5. Scissors and glue 6. Spare piece of wood

Ugh I’ve actually given myself anxiety with how this has turned out. Problem is it’s not SO bad as to warrant the amount of work and product that would go into changing it but it’s bad enough that I’m anxious about such a waste of a great piece. It is a good opportunity to show you guys though that we don’t always get it right and we don’t always like our own work, mistakes and disappointments happen. I’ll post the coloured reveal tomorrow I’d say…. Can’t wait 😑 ゚ ゚viralシfypシ゚

Rule of thumb: 40-80 to remove old finishes and scratches. 100-150 grit is to clean up the rough finish left by the previous grit and is good to use for scuff sanding too. 180-220 grit is for removing any left over scratches and sanding between coats. 320+ grit is good for sanding between coats. As you sand more you will find what works best for you! ゚
