Content Calendars Are SO Important! 🗓️

I, personally, LOVE planning out content ~at least~ a month in advance. It is easier to plan my clients content out around national holidays and important dates if these are noted, plus it saves a lot of time in the long run.

A little upfront planning = time better spent on editing and strategizing new content🙌🏻

As a new business owner, the idea of "taking time off" of work is taboo. I did it anyway.

In a previous job, I felt guilty for taking a half day off of work for a doctor's appointment because in one way or another I would receive negative commentary about my productivity and time management. I was told to make appointments on the weekends or after a certain time of day. We all know it's not that easy to make appointments around a 9-5 schedule. I should never have allowed myself to endure that for as long as I did, but I did it because I loved what I was doing for my clients and how fulfilled I felt when I received even a little positive feedback.

I just came back from a week abroad and made sure my clients were taken care of before I left and while I was away. I also made sure to NOT work remotely for a few days to really take a break and make time for myself. Crazy concept. Did I feel guilty doing that? Yes. Do I still feel guilty about it? Yes, unfortunately. It's a behavioral response I need to unlearn, and I'm doing it slowly but surely💚

Now that I am back home, I am ready to tackle all the content I have to edit 💪🏻 Everyone deserves a little break, especially if you work in social media. Remember, just because social media is available to you 24/7, does not mean you are available 24/7😉
