Hello friends, Durward MacGillovray here.

I've been getting questions from folks that generally begin, "What the hell happened to your show?" Well, as you may recall, but probably don't because it was years ago: our radio program aired for decades from Sandburn's Record Store. Then, Bo Sandburn Jr. sold us out for a cell tower.

We thought our show was done for, but then those hillbilly scoundrels The Riverfront Boys opened up a bar in Antioch called The Outhouse. And for a short time it seemed that the Jubilee had a new home. However, within 48 hours of opening their doors the Riverfronts were shut down by the Antioch Board Of Health for, among other things, a fraudulent liquor license; human trafficking in the "Rumpus Room"; a dispensery operating out of the mens room; and no safe exit.

This was a huge setback but I am proud to announce that we have secure airtime on another local radio station, and will be presenting a featurette edition of "Sandhills Jubilee" Saturday nights at 12:45am. We did a sample episode last night during some new years eve hoedown the station does. Click the link to listen!

Well, friends of the Sandhills Jubilee, Tuesday is Election Day. We encourage you to vote! And be grateful that the political ads will go away at Midnight Wednesday.

Even our humble program would ocassionally be compromised for paid political announcements, as is the case in this episode from 2016.

In tonight's episode special guest star Mr, Smith Acoustic performs a song will bring you to tears. Kalin Krohe drops by to perform one of his newest, and Durward shares an uproarious poem.
