Sir Andrew McFarlane ,is obviously a very learned and distinguished man whilst I am a mere retired ex pat living in France .
Nevertheless I still insist that he is untruthful !
He claims that “forced adoption ended in the ’70s” when he knows quite well that thousands of newborn babies and young children are still being adopted every year against the will of the mother and often opposed by both parents .That is “forced adoption” ,a term that I invented around 20 years ago to define adoption actively opposed by parent(s) previously known only as” adoption without parental consent”.The term forced adoption was never known let alone used until the beginning of this modern century when I coined the phrase and named my site in order to help mothers resist the forced adoption of their new born babies!
Now however adoption is FORCED LEGALLY on desperate mothers who give no consent , who vigorously oppose adoption and in many cases have never broken the law ” Never had so much as a parking ticket” I am sometimes told by desperate mothers whose babies have been forcibly adopted. This is “punishment without crime” they claim despairingly and usually in vain .
These forced.adoptions are made more often than not ,simply for “risk of future harm” either physical or merely emotional ! In other words on the basis of “crystal ball future predictions” from so called professionals who claim they alone can foretell the future !
A police officer can arrest you if you commit a crime but can you still be arrested if the officer is convinced you will commit a crime next year ?
Well only in the film “Minority Report” starring Tom Cruise that ended in chaos
To conclude ,l I predict that 50 years from now ie in the not too distant future they will be apologising for FORCED ADOPTION as practiced now but I alas am an old fella and will not be around to see it………

This includes all of us because Researching Reform has recognised, as always that forced adoptions are very much still happening now.

I read this blog post and am reduced to tears at the passion and compassion shown to acknowledge our very real traumatic pain and to constantly and continously be there for us still even years later.

Heart of pure gold this one 💛 Natasha Phillips is our voice, giving all of us the perfect opportunity to have a larger voice, when often we can feel so numb 😘 X###
