Stylish boy! I used to take Rocky to the beautiful sandbanks area quite often as it had the sea and sometimes in the low tide we would actually walk on the beach. But sometimes he just wanted to chill and not get his jacket dirty 😂

Throwback to one of our favourite walks: along the Tuckton River in Bournemouth, UK. You can rent a small boat here and take it along toward Christchurch, UK. Occasionally on sunny days (and even on one rainy one, thank you canopy) we rented one and cruised through the wonderful Tuckton River

Travel diaries: if you ever want to feel like you are traveling back in time, board a steam train 🚂

A while back Rocky and I visited the Isle of Wight in England. It’s an incredibly dog friendly destination.

We went by ferry where we had a dog friendly section at the top of the ferry and then once we arrived at the isle, Rocky was allowed in many places throughout the isle.

But one that stands out is the Isle of Wight steam railway and you won’t be surprised to know that it’s dog friendly too! You can climb aboard and a take trip through history and best of all, you can do it with your pup at your side!

Adventures like these remind me of how wonderful it was to have him as a companion ❤️

One of the few sightings of Batman in broad daylight 🤣

When Rocky was younger I remember I would sometimes put a bandanna or fun harness (or coat in winter) so he could appear friendlier as I was aware that sometimes bully breeds could frighten other people or affect how other people let their dogs play with bullies.

It was rare but a few times we had people become afraid of Rocky due to his breed. For those with bigger dogs, has this happened to you?

Continued from last Westbourne commercial video:

The story behind that video : I was getting my haircut in Westbourne and had Rocky with me (as always) and in walks a marketing manager (Sonia) with Bournemouth Coastal Business Development and she’s looking for local businesses to feature in a national commercial. She was interested in the barbershop itself

Ever the self-promoter, I said hey my dog here has acted in theatre plays, if we could help with commercials we would love to help. She then contacted me shortly after with an idea to shoot Rocky and I eating pizza and having a coke at a Mediterranean cafe and next thing we knew we were getting photographed doing just that.

In addition to the commercial, I believe there was also a bus with a banner on it featuring Rocky and I around Bournemouth 😂 wonderful memories and whenever I visit Westbourne I think of this experience ❤️ moral of the story: don’t be afraid to self-promote 🤣

Rocky and Danny’s travel diaries : We got to stay in a charming resort in the keys in Florida. It was low season and the manager told me to go for a swim and if I wanted to, bring Rocky along to the pool deck and that’s what we did!

This was day one of our stay there just chilling by the pool and hanging out by the docks getting some sun ☀️ and Rocky trying to figure out why there’s a floating head in the water 🤣

Travel diaries: Wi******er, a small city with a beautiful cathedral in the southwest of England. We visited this city in December 2021 because they have one of the best Christmas markets in the U.K.

During our day out here we explored the markets, ate a dog friendly restaurant, visited some dog friendly shops and took some photos in front of the famous Wi******er cathedral!

It’s a dog friendly city and I highly recommend it for a day out with your dog 🐶
