Hey! If you are in the City of Atlanta please contact your member of council and the Mayor to let them know that PAD should be funded. Council is meeting on Monday. The ACLU of GA has tools you can use to email or tweet at your councilmember. And if you have their text, hit them there too. Sharing relevant links in the comments, but PAD is a nationally recognized model and won an RFP through a fair and transparent process. But the city, seemingly at the behest of Mayor Dickens, slow rolled their funding. PAD serves all of Atlanta and keeps hundreds of people from police interactions while providing critical resources. Please share!
