Now that the dust has settled I'd like to take a moment to reflect on Heralds of Unlight II. First and foremost I'd like to extend my gratitude to the bands, attendees and my co-conspirators alike. Close to five years have passed since the first edition and while a lot has changed since then, our vision and intention hasn't. Nights like these continue to be rare and extremely meaningful. We intend to keep it that way. If and when a new edition will be held is as much of a mystery to us as it is to you. Until then...

Tickets for the second edition of Heralds of Unlight are available as of today. We're proud to deliver a very exclusive line up once again. KIIRA will play an exclusive fly-in gig. It will be the first time ever you can catch them live outside of Finland. Their label mates NAWAHARJAN will support them. A perfect fit: musically as well as spiritually. Not only do they share the same label nowadays, they both started out on the infamous Scythe of Death label. FÍR completes the bill, a fairly new project by The Specter (known from Vaal, Blood Tyrant, Old Tower...). "The excellent and much anticipated debut album by this excellent Belgian duo, conjuring cold, atavistic Black Metal.

Deeply rooted in the 90s Scandinavian scene, from the eerie, simple lead guitars reminiscing of classic, legendary Mayhem, to the more primitive, bone chilling riffage not too unlike Helwetti, or the more melodic passages reminiscing Kvist; Nid and H.T. deliver certainly not only one excellent homage to a dark past, but what they consider should be the spirit to summon on the vile entrails of this dark music, delivering with utmost ferocity and respect.

We'll be helping Dolchstoss to re-release and distribute a special edition of their demo. All proceeds will be donated to a yet to be determined relief fund for Ukraine. More information in the post below.

Dear supporters, we usually stay away from politics and do not comment on current events.

This said, we chose not to be blind to the humanitarian disaster which is unfolding in Ukraine.

Our means are limited, but we decided to re-release our demo in the Ukrainian colours in collaboration with Gramschap - all proceeds will be donated to a yet to be determined relief fund for Ukraine.

Forbidden Temple's first full length album "Step into the Black Pentagram" has been in the works for almost two years, counting from the first recording sessions. Now, the release is finally upon us! CD and cassette versions will be out next friday, February 18th. Vinyl version will come later.

A sample song will be made available in the next De Pankraker radio show on tuesday, February 15th. Expect nothing but rotten and radical Black Metal traditionalism.
