Dear Friends, owing to new horizons for me and various time constraints, this will be the final edition of CBG Review. In this 28th issue, we have the “Ukulele Bluesman” Manitoba Hal from Canada, followed by Jan Klingenberg from Klingenberg Instruments in Germany. We have “Salty Dog’s” Steve Plater in Australia and La Durance Blues Band leader Gercho Alvarez in France. The last article is an excerpt from an Adam Harrison podcast in 2017 with US entertainer Ukulele Ray (1960–2018).

I would like to thank all the friends who have joined me on my journey exploring and celebrating the accomplishments of musicians and builders participating in the homemade instrument tradition – a journey I will never forget!

As always – read, enjoy and share with your friends –
