My Skyrizi injections are every 8 weeks! I have only had two injections so far and the first one was completely painless! I got impatient with the second one and didn’t let it warm up enough, so it hurt a little bit more and also turned red and swelled some afterwards. We will see how it goes next time!

I get a lot of questions about what I can eat and how much I eat, so I thought I would share a typical Sunday with you. I am not sharing this as advice, as my eating habits are definitely not healthy. It is something I am aware of and I am waiting on an appointment with a nutritionist to address my issues. 🫶🏻
On the weekend when I do not have class or clinicals I tend to eat much more freely throughout the day as I am not as worried about having to run to the bathroom constantly.
This particular day actually turned out to be a low frequency day for me. This happens sometimes if I am taking the maximum amount of Imodium for many days in a row or if I am eating a lot of bulking foods. It typically leads to a day of “dumping” soon afterwards. This is why I decided to skip dinner, as I knew I had clinicals on Monday and did not want to risk a high frequency day (which I did manage to avoid).
I plan to record a version on a class day and on a clinical day to show the difference in my eating habits on those days. I do hope this sheds some light on the fact that I am eating enough calories (although they are not healthy calories) and my weight loss issue cannot be solved by simply eating.

I had my melanoma surgery on Tuesday and am home recovering now! I honestly did not expect this surgery to be quite so difficult, but luckily I have an amazing village helping with the kids while I heal. I am anxiously awaiting the results of the lymph node biopsy and am trying to keep my mind occupied on other things in the meantime.
