no one asked but i deeply appreciate myself for how i continuously choose to move forward despite the countless reasons to stop. i appreciate myself for the nights that i dry my tears because i’m all alone. i appreciate myself for always patting my back when everything seems so heavy.
more than anyone, it’s just me who really saw the struggle—just to get here, just to be here, just to stay here.
