I just finished my third year of university and found this cute little apartment near campus. It’s perfect — huge windows, a cozy reading nook, everything I wanted. I was so excited to move out!

"I'm not in the mood for this," Todd said, not even looking at me. "Oh, I almost forgot. This is for you," he said, thrusting an envelope to me.
For a moment, there was a hope. Maybe he hadn't forgotten... Was this the ticket to Italy? My hands shaking as I opened the envelope.
But when I saw what was inside, my world crumbled. It wasn't a ticket to Italy.
It was divorce papers.
"What…what is...?" I stammered.
"Are you THAT dumb? I'm divorcing you," he said coldly as he pulled out his suitcase.
This couldn't be happening. Not after everything I had done for him, for us.
"May I ask why?" I asked, my mind reeling.
"Jeez, you're terrible, Katie!" he said bluntly, tossing clothes into the suitcase. "Just look at yourself! You do nothing. You've gained weight, you're not interesting!"
I felt like I had been slapped. "Are you kidding? Todd, we've been together for 15 years! You can't just—"
"I can. I met someone. Stephanie. She's wonderful." he said, cutting me off again. "What did you expect? That I'd stay with you when you're like this? And please, stop this scene," Todd said, zipping up his suitcase and heading for the door.
I followed him, speechless.
"Stephanie and I are going to Italy for two weeks. Get out of here by the time I return," he said, walking out.
I bolted out the front door, not caring about anything except anger. As I saw him, his phone pressed to his ear, smiling like total jerk. Oh, right. HE IS A TOTAL JERK!
I wanted to yell at him, to say it all. But before I could say a word, I saw it: Karma immediately hit him.

MY HOUSE'S PREVIOUS OWNER LEFT ME A WARNING NOTE ABOUT OUR NEIGHBORS - I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT UNTIL ONE DAY.
We moved into our new house about a year ago. Everything seemed perfect. The neighborhood was quiet, the house was beautiful, and we were excited to settle in. Our neighbors, the Johnsons, were cool. They welcomed us with a pie and friendly smiles.
But three months later, I accidentally found a note from the previous owner tucked inside a kitchen drawer.
"Beware of the Johnsons. They'll make your life hell. Don't put them too close."
I was freaked out a bit, but it seemed too late to change anything. Each weekend we invited them to our pool and grill. We got along well, exchanging recipes, and books, and asking their advice about garden design.

Three mischievous grandmas were sitting on a bench outside a nursing home. An old man walked by, and one of the grandmas yelled out, “We bet we can tell exactly how old you are.”
The old man said, “There ain’t no way you can guess it, you old fools.”
One of the grandmas said, “Sure we can! Just drop your pants and we can tell your exact age.”
Embarrassed just a little, the old man dropped his pants.

I BABYSAT 5 KIDS DURING THEIR FAMILY VACATION, BUT THEN THEIR ENTITLED PARENTS DEMANDED $1,000 FROM ME FOR MY PLANE TICKETS – THE LESSON THEY LEARNED WAS PRICELESS.
A few months ago, the Smiths, a family I babysit for, invited me on a vacation to a luxurious resort. They wanted me to look after their 5 kids. I told them I couldn't afford such a pricey vacation, but Mrs. Smith reassured me everything would be ON THEM.
So, I agreed. While the Smiths were lounging by the pool, sipping cocktails, and enjoying spa treatments, I was working non-stop, looking after the kids.
Then came the last day of the vacation. We returned home, and the very next morning, Mrs. Smith called me into the living room.
Mrs. Smith: "Jane, when will you pay back the $1,000?"

WOMAN ON PLANE PUT FEET ON MY HUSBAND’S SEAT - I COULDN’T STAND IT & TOOK PETTY REVENGE ON HER
I was on a flight with my husband last night. We boarded and sat down, and I soon realized that this woman in the row behind us had her bare feet up on my husband's seat. She was there with one of her friends. So my husband turned around and said something like, "Uh, do you think you could put your feet down?" I think they said something in response, but I didn't hear it, and the woman's feet didn't go down. A few minutes later, my husband said, "Hey, will you get your feet off my chair? It's extremely rude." And still, she didn't budge.
So I told my husband that he should find a flight attendant and get them to talk to this woman. He did exactly that, and after a couple of minutes, a flight attendant came and talked to the woman. She was obviously pretty peeved but begrudgingly agreed to put her feet down.
After the flight attendant left, she put her feet right back up.
At this point, I got angry. Why is it so important to you that you have your feet up on someone's chair? You're just being a brat.
