Here is an article from the Washington Post playing the bothsides game about the Trump rally shooting. It tries to say that liberals conspiracy theories are just the same as the radical right conspiracy theories.

When the news first came out, the first thing that popped into my head was it might be a setup with the RNC starting this week and Trump having some bad press - not as much as Biden - I thought it might even be a kid with a sling shot as a setup. I didn't jump on social media and talk about it because I wanted to wait to see what the real investigators came up with. Then when it was confirmed the shooter was dead then I knew it was an actual shooting - still didn't convince me it wasn't a setup but I am still waiting for the investigation to finish but I am leaning toward some disaffected young man who had a gun fe**sh and thought it could solve his problems. Thoughts and prayers.

Researchers who track online conspiracies say liberals, too, are now vulnerable to — and generating — QAnon-like bursts of misinformation.

A Nugget: The US Supreme court ruled 9 - 0 that states could not remove Donald Trump from primary ballots without action from Congress. The ruling said that if states were allowed to do that then elections would be thrown into chaos - more so than currently.

The problem is the ruling thwarted the master plan from Donny T - one that was even better than using fake electors or lawsuits to challenge results.

Our 75th episode is now LIVE!!!!!! Get it while it's hot!

Do political and religious conservatives really understand DEI? Will J.R. Majewski drop out of the race because he used a slur. And how ironic that some republicans like Nikki Haley are using prochoice arguments to support IVF.

"But there’s something even more striking about that timeline. Duché prayed in 1774, the prayerless Constitutional Convention met in 1787, and the constitution was ratified two years later, in 1789. When Duché prayed there was no United States of America, the colonies hadn’t even declared independence. There was no godless Constitution drawing its power from We the People, rather than a deity. The First Amendment to that Constitution wasn’t ratified for two more years (1791). In short, there was no constitutional separation between state and church. But judges and justices, whose sole job is to interpret and apply the U.S. Constitution regularly use a prayer from a decade and a half before the document existed… to interpret that document. "

The “shot heard around the world” ignited the American Revolution and led to the independence we celebrate every July 4th. Before that shot, a preacher delivered a prayer. That prayer is celebrated in paintings and even in our law. The Supreme Court uses this prayer today to interpret the meanin...

This is the last minute of so of a report on CBS Evening News Wednesday 4/26. It was talking about the censor and removal of Democratic Rep. Zooey Zephyr in the Montana state legislature.

Pay attention to how the report ends. A person was just exiled from the legislature because the majority didn't like what she said. They could have ignored her and moved on, they had the votes to pass the bill in question yet they took time to punish her - for what? Trying to hold their bigotry to account. The party of free speech can't handle free speech from people they don't like.

The reporter, Carter Evans, ends the report like he is covering the choice of ice cream flavor. "The debate over surgery and hormone therapy for children continues across the country... Nora?"

That is the wrong framing because there is no debate over surgery and hormone therapy for children except in the fevered mind of a Republican. Evans could have ended the report like this: 'The false debate over surgery and hormone therapy for children will harm more people including those who stand up for Trans rights... Nora?'

The anchor, Norah O'Donnell is just as blase' when all she does is thank Evans and moves on to the next story. O'Donnell has reacted to powerful stories before with words like "that is a strong statement" or "that is heartbreaking.." but for a Trans woman rudely and un-American banished from the job she was elected to do we get no reaction.

What happened to Zooey Zephyr isn't any different that what happened during the Greensboro sit-ins in 1960 when black people exercised their 1st amendment right to protest segregated lunch counters.

I'm sure if Carter Evans was reporting then he would end his report: 'The debate over desegregating lunch counters continues across the country... Nora?'

"I’m not arguing for a simplistic dichotomy of “secular values good, religious values bad.” People whose morality comes from religion can be perfectly kind and decent. The key difference is that secular values, followed consistently, will always be good for humans; whereas when religious values are good for humans, it’s only by coincidence."

Nonbelievers have a shared value system that puts humanity first. In this moment, that's precisely what the world needs.

The families raised 1st amendment concerns in a lawsuit filed against the district. The judge didn't rule on the 1st amendment arguments but did side with the parents that 6:15 was too early for a 5 year old to catch a bus and they shouldn't be riding with teens.

The judge didn't base her judgement on the information at the hearing or offer any evidence. It was her feeling.

The families claim of a 1st amendment violation was misplaced since mere inconvenience isn't an actual injury for constitutional issues. Catching a bus at 6:15 am doesn't keep the children from practicing their religion. They are still being transported to their private school.

In the Blade article the district said, "Previously, the three Catholic schools were the only ones out of the 14 private schools served that didn’t have to ride with older students or have layovers at the public schools and Ms. Motley previously stated that doing so was necessary because the private elementary schools — unlike their public counterparts — held a similar start-time to the high schools."

The families had been getting special treatment before the lack of bus drivers caused the school district to have to cut some routes and combine some other ones. With the plan the school was going to use before the lawsuit, the families would actually be treated just like all the other private school and public school students and that's how it should be.

Sylvania school district officials spent more than five hours Monday in mediation talks with attorneys representing two families who sued to overturn a ...

New: One terrible side effect of recent US Supreme Court cases is that believers will sue a government agency for simply causing an inconvenience and they will claim a violation. Two families in Sylvania, Ohio didn't want their child to have to take a bus at 6:45 am to go to their catholic school.

New Episode is up: "The people that betrayed their promise wasn't the Progressive Caucus. It was Joe Manchin for one. It was also Pelosi and President Biden. And majority leader Schumer who worked with Joe Manchin, to whittle down the bill. They didn't have to whittle down the bill. All they had to do was try to force Joe Manchin to vote for it, which they know they would. And so basically, they bargained with him in better faith than they bargained with the Progressive Caucus. And if Serota and other people on the left want to complain, they need to complain to the people that are responsible, and that Schumer and President Biden and Joe Manchin, those are the people that betrayed their promises."

In this episode we explore the Black Nationalist roots of the US Supreme Court's most conservative justice and how his views on racism dovetail nicely with critical race theory. Finally we hear from a volunteer at an abortion clinic about the violation of religious freedom we got with the Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization decision last month that overturned Roe v Wade.

YES!!! As we found out just last month, the US Supreme Court can change precedent when it doesn't agree with their own views. We need to stop putting the gun fe**sh over the safety of the public

The entire country is being held hostage to a radical ideology that insists the Founders wanted us all to have guns. And not just guns -- assault weapons.
