For those of you who didn’t watch the debate, I can help you out because I watched every second of it. Here’s what happened. Trump told lie after lie after lie and painted the United States as a flaming Apocalypse of crime and murder and failed economic policy. Joe Biden, looking old and tired and sleepy, clearly explained all of his policy positions, his past achievements, and what he would continue to do to work on the problems of this country, despite a completely dysfunctional Congress. He also called out every piece of bu****it and every lie that Trump made directly to his face very clearly and forcefully. I’m not happy about what’s happening now and what our choices are but I but I know that if you care one bit about this country, you need to proudly and loudly endorse this flawed candidate known as Joe Biden.

Watching the debate. We all know who these guys are. We need the highest turnout ever seen to flush this convicted felon, serial liar, ra**st, failed grifter, admitted supporter of N***s and white supremacists, science denier, climate change denier, and friend of dictators down the toilet forever. I realize Joe is old and slow. I don’t care, he believes in democracy and the rule of law and he likes this country. The other clown can’t stop talking about how sh*tty America is. If you have even one ounce of love for this country, do everything you can to make everyone you know vote for Joe in 4 months.

Here in NY, we’ve known for decades what a corrupt grifter he is. I’ve personally been in the same room with the guy three times. I once was hired to follow him around with a camera for an hour in the lobby of the Plaza while he wandered from one group of celebrities to another, and you could see them visibly creeped out by his presence, doing their best to get away. I’ve heard firsthand multiple business and political leaders warning people not to do business with him because he never pays his bills unless forced to by a lawsuit. And now our justice system has once again shown the world this guy’s true character. And yet. And yet a huge portion of the American population continues to use every possibly trick of self-delusion to turn all possible proof of absolute worthlessness and corruption into some kind of huge cosmic conspiracy. The effort it takes to construct a narrative in which this character is somehow worthy of any level of leadership boggles the mind. Even if he wasn’t found guilty of any of these allegations, he literally could not get a job as a cashier at a dollar store. I met a guy in Florida last weekend who told me I was brainwashed, that DJT was chosen by God, and that he didn’t need any other source of information than the Bible. USA, where are we going with this? I don’t actually want to move, I like it here. Do we stay and fight and hope that the individual states stay strong?

If I started a new political party it would be called THE NUANCE PARTY. Nothing in life is simple, nothing is black and white. Sorry if that takes too much work, you lazy babies.
For example:
I understand the difference between the current Israeli government and Jewish people. They are two different entities. So I condemn the Israeli government and support Jewish people. I condemn Hamas and its actions and I say to the Israeli government and military: Stop murdering innocent people. I support Americans’ right to protest the war but not to destroy property.

1. He r***d E. Jean Carroll in a department store dressing room.
2. He oversaw one of the largest financial frauds in American history, and owes hundreds of millions of dollars in fines and penalties.
3. He stole America’s secrets, lied to the FBI about it all and shared those secrets with others.
4. He tried to overturn an American election, led an armed insurrection against the Congress, fought to end American democracy for all time and has promised to finish the job if he somehow gets into the Oval Office next year.
5. He and his family have, corruptly, taken more money from foreign governments than any political family in our history.
6. He was singularly responsible for ending Roe and stripping rights and freedoms away from the women of America; and last week confirmed, by embracing the states’ rights position, that he supports the most extreme abortion bans in the nation - this making him without question the most dangerous abortion extremist America has ever seen.

Old Joe looked good last night. It was nice to see him speak the truth using actual thoughts and facts and analysis and context into the constipated faces of the hypocritical, morally bankrupt republicans. As much as I wish it was a different race, (and there are issues I disagree with Joe about,) there’s not even a hint of a doubt about voting for him over that corrupt, moronic, racist, ra**st, freelance dictator, failed businessman, orange clown.

I just changed my political affiliation to Republican so I can vote in the NY state primary for anyone other than the guy facing 91 felony counts who is a convicted sexual predator. Obviously I will vote for Biden in the general, but keeping this toxic criminal off the GOP ballot is one thing we can do in this very scary time. (For the record, the other two candidates are reprehensible, I wouldn't vote for them for president of a gas station, but these are desperate times.)

I've decided to use the Pierre Pressure page to process my thoughts on current world and US events, and refrain from any political discussion on any personal pages. Even though Facebook (and all social media) is deeply problematic/toxic, my hope is that some courteous and insightful discussion might happen. I feel so overwhelmed by everything happening that I need to talk about it.
It’s really hard to understand how murdering 15,000 people is a way to make the case that your priority is peace and safety.
And absolutely horrifying and disgusting to hear what Hamas did to those women. So much blame on both sides.
