Kaduna State Police Command has arrested three street gang members believed to be terrorising residents of the Basawa Area of Sabon Gari Zaria LGA.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, ASP Mansir Hassan, confirmed the arrest in an interview with newsmen in Kaduna.

He said the suspect were arrested when the operatives were on routine patrol within the vicinity of Mammy Market in the Basawa area.”

In line with his administration commitment to strengthening stakeholders engagement for enhanced service delivery, peace and stability, Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna state hosted the All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders from the 23 local governments led by the State Party Chairman, Air Commodore Emmanuel Jekada (Rtd) at the pavilion of Sir Ibrahim Kashim House

The well attended stakeholders meeting deliberated on a number of key developmental and security issues. The stakeholders who were on a Sallah homage expressed satisfaction with the state government's implementation of the Rural Transformation Agenda and measures aimed at bringing succour to the poor, vulnerable and underserved in Kaduna State.
