The first semester of the Recinmed - Interreg Euro-MED project is drawing to a close. After the initial administrative phases, the project got underway with the online KickOff Meeting on 4 March, which was followed by the more technical meeting on 21 March, also online.
The partners all met for the first time on 4 and 5 June, in Granada, and it was there that the technical work got underway, with the formation of the three Working Groups that will be responsible for implementing the Pilot Actions for urban, rural and island areas respectively.
In the coming months, the 3 working groups will be enlarged to include the stakeholders of the territories where the Pilot Actions will be carried out. Then, together with them (citizens, local institutions, associations, companies in the sector), the contents of the Pilot Actions will be defined.

The Granada Municipality has hosted the first transnational meeting of the Recinmed - Interreg Euro-MED Project at the beginning of this month (June, 4th-5th), focused on the promotion of Renewable Energy Communities.

The city of Granada has presented the good practices of the Social Office of the Energy Communities (OSCE) and the Barrios de la Alhambra Energy Community, and will be the subject of one of the three pilots to be carried out in the project.

Granada strengthen its commitment to sustainability, energy transition and inclusion.

During the 2nd online project meeting (21th March 2024), the technicians presented to all project partners the financial Plan, the quality management, and the communication Editorial Plan.

The partnership of the RECinMED project is conformed by the SCHOOL CENTER VELENJE (LP-Slovenia), the UNIVERSITY OF BOLOGNA (PP2-Italy), ENERGIES 2050 (PP3-France), the GRANADA CITY COUNCIL (PP4-Spain), AREANATejo (PP5-Portugal), ASSO (PP6-Italy), ARGONAUTA (PP7-Croatia), the MUNICIPALITY OF SMOLYAN (PP8-Bulgaria), the NEAPOLIS UNIVERSITY OF PALOS (PP9-Cyprus), RERA (PP10-Croatia), and the CITY OF DERVENTA (PP11-Bosnia-Herzegovina).

All project partners (11) participated in the Kick-of meeting of RECinMED which was held in 4th March 2024, in online modality. The meeting was conducted by their Project Manager, Marco Afronte, and the overview of the project was presented by Igor Doler, the Manager of School Center Velenje (Lead Partner). The Project Officer of the Interreg Euro-MED Joint Secretariat, Mrs. Pascale Fauveau-Lagaye, was also present and gave support about some technical doubts and perplexities that arose during the meeting. All PPs agreed the steps to follow.
