The effort spayed or neutered over 30 local dogs. Animal Samaritans estimates that this effort will prevent at least 175 unwanted puppies from being born over the next couple of months, many of which would have ended up in local shelters, which are already over-crowded.

Did you know....More pets go missing between July 4th - 6th than any other time of the year.

Here are a few tips to keep you pets safe during the Independence Day holiday.
๐Ÿพ Create a safe space indoors for your pet. Remind visits not to let your pets out.

๐Ÿพ Bring all pets indoor on the night of July 4th. It is a good idea to keep pets indoors July 3rd - 6th.

๐Ÿพ Make sure ID tags and microchip information is up-to-date.

๐Ÿพ Turn on the radio or TV to drown out noise.

๐Ÿพ Do not take your pet to a fireworks show.
