On April 4th, according to the AEN, daily clashes persist in Rakhine state between the Rakhine Army (AA) and the Military Council Army. The Rakhine Army (AA) has launched attacks on the military council camps in Maungdaw and Myap Township.
The main offensive of the Rakhine Army targets the Buthi Taung military council's camps, including the headquarters of the Khmer (564) battalion under Saka (15) in Buthidaung. Surrounding camps like the Tohain Taung strategy under SKA (5) in Ann Township and the border guard station of Rang Chao in Maungdaw are also under attack.
The assault on the military council's Buthidaung camp began on April 1st. On April 2nd, the Rakhine Army attacked the military council's Point (257) camp east of Sinin Village, prompting the use of aerial missiles for defense.
Likewise, intense fighting persists in Maungdaw, particularly at the Rang Khao camp, where clashes between the two sides have not ceased for a single day.
Moreover, on March 31st, in Ann Township, the Rakhine Army (AA) reported a one-hour battle with the Military Council on the ridge west of Lon Village, resulting in the deaths of four (4) Military Council members.
