Last Call for Burlington Residents! The community games night this Friday, August 11th. We received a small Love my Hood grant from the City of Burlington and Port Nelson Church in order to hold this event.

Doors open at 5:30 pm.
We will start to wrap up around 8 pm.

This event will take place in Burlington at the Port Nelson United Church, located at 3132 South Drive, Burlington, ON.

There will be prizes and lots of food. The event is free however if you wish to attend you must email me back before 2 pm Thursday, Aug 10th. So I can plan accordingly.

Attendees are encouraged to contribute in one of the following two ways:

- stay at a games table to teach a game for two rounds
- or bring a snack (no nuts) to share, approx 25 to 30 pieces.

The event takes place in the main floor room, called the Roseland Room. We have approximately 62 people attending the games night at this time. But we have room for a few more people. Please share with your friends and family.

Feature Fridays! Did you know that one of our owners who is also the Head of Creative Direction and Lead Cinematographer Alex Hutchinson has been a certified drone pilot since 2015!?

Alex has shot for Television and Movie Productions in Ontario, Quebec, Sweden, Finland, Mexico, Los Angeles and more. He's met the rapper Snoop Dogg and is an accomplished Director and Producer for commercial videos for Zip Car, 180 Drinks and 360 Energy.

He recently shot a steadicam commercial for the 2023 FirstOntario 1 Award Winning company Laila's Cheesecakes, which you can find on our YouTube page.

He's been hustling with his new YouTube Channel called "The Parody Verse" where he takes wild, fun and weird ideas to the extreme and all in the name of comedy. You can meet him at our upcoming Community Games Night on August 11th where he will be hosting along with his wife and partner Denise Lee - Hutchinson. Burlington Films Inc. presents Laila’s Cheesecakes: If you haven’t tried it her cheesecakes are incredible. We tasted two flavours, the mint chocolate chip was divine and had just the right amount of creaminess. The Baileys cheesecake was my favourite and we picked up an extra cookie biscuit flavour the next week, which we haven’t sampled yet but are saving for Friday night.

We filmed this as part of our local business promo series which will feature small businesses in and and around Burlington, Ontario.
