Hey friends, happy Friday!! Facebook just hit me with this notification and asked if I wanted to share, and yes, I very much want to share my sentiments. 😄

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all so much for all the love and support you have given me in this venture so far, and we are just beginning! We have some major plans to continue growing and we have lofty goals to serve more children and other individuals in need. In fact, Kingdom Catch has been quietly giving some still to the community- because not every act needs to be documented and shared- but we have some outreaches and giveaways coming soon that are going to be a BLAST; stay tuned!!!

Also, please pray with us about our 501.c3! We have been blessed and given the funds necessary to register as a non-profit organization and this is our next big goal as a ministry 😃. Please pray that we would have the wisdom and means to continue growing; we are going to help so many people and have so much fun, and I am SO excited!!

Man, my sister is the BEST! She lives across the country, and often when she stumbles upon some awesome fishing implement, she orders them and has them delivered to me without saying anything lol. This is the latest in a growingly-long line of surprise fishing gifts 🤣🙌.

This thing opens up and it says it is a medium, but honestly, it feels like an ultralight. And surprisingly, the reel is extremely smooth and will be fun to use until it dies one day. That little kit has clippers, hooks, jig heads, bobbers, senkos, a spoon, and a few other things. Nice little box to take on the road!

So, here’s to Melanie Pace, the best, most awesome sister ever. Love you, sis- thank you! 😃

Kingdom Catch had the special blessing and honor to take our dear friend, Jovanny, out on the kayaks for a day of fun ultralight fishing!

You should know, Jovanny is a Christian missionary who has been all around the world taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ everywhere he goes! He has ministered in Israel, Greece, Egypt, and more, and let me tell you: this guy is FULL of the Spirit!

It truly was an honor to lead him to some fish today! Jovanny is such a blessing to be around. We caught loads of nice fish- I caught a massive tilapia close to my record. We caught probably 10+ good tilapia, 8-10 bass total, and a ton of bluegills. But BOY was it hot! This central Florida sun is no joke! 🤣

This whole video features the Handing Magic L ultralight rod paired with a Daiwa Fuego LT with 6lb line. This rod has performed amazingly and is only $60! Fuji guides, high carbon blank, and beautiful design with AA cork grips.

You should know that I was given this rod to review- and the full review is coming soon- but I was directed to be honest with my sentiments and tell the truth. Well, the truth is that I’m not paid to say this, but I think this is probably the best, most versatile, most enjoyable rod that a person can buy for $60!

I recently lost both of my team members at work- one retired and the other found a better opportunity- so I had the opportunity to hire some new awesome people, and I am so happy to report that I found them! My friend, Rene Ocasio, has joined my team, and in his interview he told me he loved fishing… and that’s how you get hired by me 🤣. We went fishing at lunch today and I introduced him to the ultralight world and we tore them up! We caught some super big Warmouth (way bigger than normal), and some nice, chunky Bluegill.

What a blessing! So glad you’re here, Rene- I’m stoked to have a new brother! 🙏🙌 Here's to many more productive fishing lunches!

Good morning, my blessed brothers and sisters! I just wanted to reach out to let you all know that Kingdom Catch is planning some big things in the near future, and to ask for your prayers in our lives! We have entered a short season where things with work have become extremely heavy and that leaves little time for me to serve as Kingdom Catch. This season shall pass, but I must stay faithful to the Lord in the midst of it and persevere! God has given me a vision with this ministry, and one day we will be able to help children and families on a much grander scale than we are able to do now- we just take it one step at a time and leave it in the Lord’s hands!

I thank you all for being patient with me, and I hope you will continue to pray for growth in our ministry. We know that God is with us! Keep your eyes on the page: we have some cool fishing trips with kids coming up soon, and I am excited to tell you!

Hey guys! I just finished my detailed review of the Handing Wandering 5'5" ultralight spinning rod! This is something I plan to do more of (reviewing, that is), and I'd truly appreciate it if you guys would check it out and give me a like/share/follow, so I can keep creating good, quality content, and of course, get better with time!

Also, if you have been interested in HANDING Fishing's gear, this video is a really good place to start. Some of you who have used their rods already know how nice they are and were probably surprised- as I was- by the quality and style thereof.

Hey friends, meet Stacie!! Stacie is a friend of mine and an awesome person: we both work for an agency called One More Child, where she works with victims of human-trafficking as a mentor! Stacie reached out and told me that she thought fishing would be an incredible activity to do with her survivors as a bonding/healing activity- I agree! Kingdom Catch was able to provide her with rods/reels and tackle to get them going and she and I are planning a day next month where I can go with them and help them get on some fish!

It’s a blessing to be able to provide to people doing such great work. Please pray for Stacie and her team as they work to shine the light of Christ to people who have seen great darkness! 🙏🙌

Today was another awesome day in so many ways! Kingdom Catch was able to equip another foster/adoptive home with some great fishing gear and insider knowledge lol!

This is Ashley: she and her husband care for 3 foster/adoptive children in their home, and have 4 biological children as well; only two of the boys were interested in fishing though 😉. Most importantly, our family has established an awesome new relationship with these amazing people, and prayerfully, we will continue to be empathetic support nets for one another and our families can point each other to Christ: whether we are on the mountain, or feel like we are languishing in a valley.

With every rod and with all the tackle that goes out, my prayer and hope is that the children will see the act of kindness and ask themselves why someone would do such a thing, and that their attention will be drawn to the overwhelming goodness of God.

Please lift up the Grogan family as they seek to be the hands and feet of Christ in a broken world! I praise God for people like them. 🙏🙌

Hey crew!! I’m really excited for this news, I’ve been waiting until the items came in: I have been selected as an official sponsored product tester for the Handing Rod company! Pictured here I have been given the “Wandering” and “Magic L” ultralight rods, including their accompanying carrying cases, and Handing’s extremely thin braided fishing line in 8lb and 20lb test. I will be using these items and subsequently making review videos that I will post online.

If you have ever dealt with Handing’s customer service, you know they are amazing. I want everyone to know I am going to be impartial and honest; in fact, Sean with Handing told me that he wants me to “give an honest review and be responsible to my followers.” How many companies will come out and say that?

Handing rods are incredible, I have one already (Magic Blade). These things are truly beautiful too, and I can’t wait to get them out on the water!

Okay, y'all...who's going to fess up to these?! LOL! We woke up this morning and there was a package on our front porch: it had no name of sender, no tags (except for broken English with "fishing" clearly on it), no gift receipt, but only my name on the label in an Amazon box. My beautiful wife is modeling these for us in the photo, and we can only figure they are some kind of fish-grippers! To whomever sent this to me: first, thank you so much! Second, please tell me precisely what they're for so that they don't turn into a back/scratcher for my dog or a utensil to toss a salad 🤣. Conversely, if any of you have ever seen these, please feel free to write in...actually, let's hear everyone's best (or most ridiculous) suggestion! P.S. - they look like they're meant to hold fish 😉.

Want to see something awesome? These are Jack Dempsey Cichlids and I know a secret pond LOADED with nothing but these guys and Plecos lol! No idea how it happened, but there are no bluegills, no bass, no channel cats- just Jack Dempseys and Armored Catfish (Plecos).

This pond is located on private property in central Florida, next to a series of foster family homes that I help maintain. When I travel over here I always take some time on lunch and catch some of these guys on the ultralight!

I brought my GoPro today and got some good footage… even got challenged by a gator 🤣. Welcome to Florida! I hope to have a new video tomorrow!

Let me tell you guys: you can’t out-give God!!

I have just been perpetually floored for the past two months as Kingdom Catch has been growing. We have been seeking Christ in everything we do and we have been working hard to let our light shine by blessing as many people as we can!

I’m sure many of you have seen the gear we have given out lately to foster/adopted kiddos, and too, several rods and reels have been given out that haven’t been posted. Praise God!! But what does that mean? Kingdom Catch’s donation pile was starting to run low!!

BUT GOD! Yet again, the Lord has proven His faithfulness and has provided the means to continue serving our community in this ministry. These 6 new rods and reels were Providentially donated this afternoon, along with 10 small tackle boxes full of hooks and other terminal tackle! Amazingly, I was just telling my wife that I wanted to hand out little tackle kits with each reel, and have begun to do that the past few times… and look here, the Lord provided something even better!!

These “serendipitous” events are so humbling and awe inspiring, because we keep seeing the Lord do incredible things and we know His face is shining upon us as we intentionally “seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.” In doing so, we have come to experience the truth in our Savior’s words, as all these things have been added unto us!

We have been blessed to be a blessing, and it is far greater to give than receive. Everything you see in these photos will be freely given to children and families who live with trauma every day. They are going to know that there are people right there with them in their lives; they will know that they are loved, prayed for, and not alone.

Kingdom Catch is also planning some outreach days soon! We are planning to have fishing field days with foster children, and separately, victims of sex-trafficking, and more! We are so excited for the future, and we know that God is with us… I can’t wait to see where this all goes and to have some fun out by the water!

I’m sorry for such a long post, we have just seen the Lord move in so many incredible ways and know that it will continue as long as we keep Christ first! All glory to the LORD!!!

Kingdom Catch was blessed to be able to give out another 4 new fishing poles and tackle today to a foster/adoptive family with- you guessed it- 4 kiddos! The children couldn’t be with them this morning, but I’m sure they were pleased when they got home!

This has been an awesome week for Kingdom Catch!! We were able to give out four brand new rods and reels to a foster family yesterday evening and today we had the pleasure to bless “K” with a brand new setup, lures, and tackle! She was SO excited, and we were even able to get her a new combo that matched her favorite color scheme! 😃 “K” is such a cool kid! She ran up and gave me a big hug and was so kind and grateful; she has such a bright future ahead, and has truly amazing parents who are going to intentionally help her keep eyes on the Lord every step of the way. Great job, mom and dad!!

We have a busy few days ahead of blessing, as I still have another 10 or so rods and reels which are going out to kiddos in foster care or who have found permanency through adoption- several different families will be receiving new gear 🙌😃. The smiles on their faces is the absolute best part!

Thank you all for your continued support, we are PRAISING God for His unending goodness and love!! Stay tuned, there will be more big things to come!

Catching fish is just a small part of Kingdom Catch’s ministry. This is what we are all about: providing hope and the love of Christ to those who are in need. Just this last week I’ve had a number of strong, good men reach out who have just needed a word of encouragement or who have realized they need the Lord in their lives, and they know I’m just a regular guy who loves the Lord and fishing, just like them, who will be there to put an arm around them in their time of need. If any of you EVER needs prayer or just needs to talk, I want you to know that I’m here for you and will never cast judgement on you. Please reach out any time via PM- I’ve got your back!! God is so good and we are in this together! 💪

My buddy Stephen was with me when Kingdom Catch was blessed today with four brand new rods!!! We truly are blessed beyond all measure and every time I get a call that someone wants to donate to this ministry I just stop what I’m doing and praise God!

These rods will go out to foster families or other underprivileged/at risk kiddos, or maybe young men in recovery- wherever God shows me it’s needed!

I’m a foster/adoptive parent myself and I know the horrible impact that trauma can make in the life of a child, but I also know the healing and peace that can be found in fishing when a person is alone on the water with God. Kingdom Catch is about far more than fishing: it’s about showing people the kindness, the grace, and the love of Christ in a hobby that is nearly as old as humankind.

Kingdom Catch was blessed to be able to donate some fishing poles today to some kiddos! This is Mr. Bob, and his three grandchildren have been adopted out of the foster care system- they are so excited to receive their new gear! This is the mission of Kingdom Catch: to serve at risk/underprivileged children, caregivers, ministry teams, and men in recovery- or just kiddos who have gone through a tough time- with the love of Christ through fishing! We are blessed to be a blessing!! 😃🙏🙌
