Our good friend Scott Seskind who 40 years ago did his self-titled folk album will be in Ireland in July for a few weeks. If anybody knows promoters there who would be interested to make a small show, please share this post.

For many years Scott's only LP was very rare and like a collector's dream. Last month the records were reissued and the release is supported by Shindig! Magazine... the latest! , It's Psychedelic Baby and Ugly Things Magazine. At first, the album was planned to be released on IFP but due to different reasons, we decided that it fit better for another label.

However, the work is epic and highly recommended for those who are in old folk-rock music, early Dylan, The Byrds, Jackson C. Frank, PF Sloan, Skip Spence, and Phil Orchis e.t. The youtube link is here, but you can find the album everywhere now.

Also, you could hear Scott's songs on a couple of pretty famous compilations, like Sky Girl by EFFICIENT SPACE and Folk Funk & Trippy Troubadours by Warm.

Korpses Katatonik was a musical solo project of Zoe DeWitt during the years 1982 and 1983. Unlike DeWitt's later project Zero K**a, the work of Korpses Katatonik remains entirely within the realm of electronic music and shows an uncompromising experimental style comparable to that of other industrial bands like Throbbing Gristle, SPK, or Cabaret Voltaire. Like many other exponents of industrial culture Korpses Katatonik was inspired by dark psychiatry, pathological abnormalism, necrophilia, and other types of paraphilic aberration. These served as a metaphor for the dark side of a dehumanized society that seeks to maintain control by the suppression of anything that could be regarded as dark, sinister, deviant, or unpleasant from the viewpoint of popular mass culture. As a means of escape from this totalitarian pressure - thus a statement by Korpses Katatonik - there remains only self-destruction, murder, or the withdrawal into catatonic schizophrenia.

We are excited to announce 2 new releases, 2 albums by Klaus Wiese (1942-2009) who was a German musician and sound researcher. Wiese brought the teachings of Sufi Hazrat Inayat Khan to Germany from his travels in the East. His album "El-Hadra, the Mystik Dance," which he created with Mathias Grassow and Ted de Jong, made him famous in the genre. Under his own name, From 1981 until his unexpected death in 2009 he released upwards of 60 recordings, not including collaborations(with Oophoi, Mathias Grassow, Ted De Jong, Jim Cole, Al Gromer Khan... to name a few). Wiese’s music exists at the nexus of several overlapping modes - ritual, dark ambient, environmental - yet new age exerted an influence as well, most audibly on these late 1980s outings.

Ritual cult Metgumbnerbone is coming back with a new TAPE and T-shirt on IFP. Preorders are open via web-shop and Bandcamp, editions are limited.

Seven new, previously unreleased subterranean events from the notorious Newcastle-Upon-Tyne ritual / industrial act featuring members of The New Blockaders, Masstishaddhu, Sir Ashleigh Grove, and Sedayne.

Enacted by an uncertain light the celebrants descent past bone white nitre and through malodorous exhalations of damp and decay invading the sepulchral silence with a ponderous and doleful clamber and setting the tenebrous shadows to dance.

Metgumbnerbone is an organic and rotating outfit including John Mylotte, Richard Rupenus, Philip Rupenus, Sean Breadin, and Mike Watson.

"The band debuted with the 1983 album 'Ligeliahorn' featuring percussion and ambience, the album was purported to be recorded using flutes and percussion objects made from human bones excavated illegally from a graveyard. A story which has been a firm part of Metgumbnerbone's mythology since...

'Out Of The Ground' brings us seven previously unreleased recordings, divided into two suites: 'Tunnel' and 'Culvert', referring to their recording circumstances. What we get is typical Metgumbnerbone: ritualistic, shamanic percussion performances where the recording space's ambience plays a crucial part. Some of it is of a chaotic nature; some pieces are more structured. The mid-tempo percussion and the spectrum of instruments used, various percussion devices, metal screeching, flutes (human thigh b***d or perhaps a Pungi?) and the occasional chant give this album a coherent feel... The final track holds the surprise: here, the sparse flutes dominates over the relentless percussion, the ambience of the space it was recorded coming to the fore, resulting in a beautiful but outer-worldly piece of music... a fascinating addition to Metgumberbone’s canon" (Vital Weekly).

It's not IFP release, but our friends from Ebalunga!!! rec. I want to share this with you cuz initially this album was in the Infinite Fog's release plan. I have found the record 10-15 years ago it's blown my mind and was obsessed with a reissue idea that eventually became real. Seriously, a few tracks could sound good on a split with Wardruna, but the record of 1989!
Only when everything was ready for print we did decide that it's more fits the Ebalunga!!! catalog(ha, especially with such artwork), for sure that's a correct decision. However, the album is absolutely unique and I believe that many fans of strange and experimental music will love it. Hope the record will fine more listeners here.

As most of you may know, I happened to play a few shows in Ukraine just a few days before the invasion. My friend Igor Cherepanov is usually organising and promoting these kind of shows with his Kyiv Kills Concert Agency, but now, 1 month into the war, he is running a free hostel for refugees in Lviv, to where he had to flee with his family. I will play an online show to help with the funding of his shelter for war refugees. All the gathered money will be spent on the upgrade of the free hostel in Lviv and any humanitarian help they need to organise. Any donations you make will end up in the right hands and where it is actually needed.

So, please tune in on March 30th!
We are still figuring out some technical details, but will keep you posted soon.

Dear friends,
a few lines of general thoughts first and a few lines of business news after, just scroll it if you need only shipping updates (we received a lot of questions these days).

Terrible things are going on in the world and especially in Ukraine. This is a tragedy and there is nothing more to add. The tragedy for ruined Ukraine, the tragedy for Russia occupied by insane people where only for a verbal critic of the government you can go to jail for many years. The tragedy for a whole world that is so fragile yet cruel. How is that possible, how did we create this surrealistic nightmare? Aren’t enough books were written and movies made? Haven’t enough blood been already spilled in human history? Again, blinded by a lie, again zombified by media, again bowing to the leader cult. The bitter end, awful disappointment, and r***d soul. There will be NO cure, never.

This insane conflict is personal for us - our families live in both countries, our artists from both countries, our designers, and other partners in both countries. Every tenth Russian has relatives in Ukraine, every Russian has friends in Ukraine and now we receive photos from them of how they are hiding in bomb shelters. How does it feel? Disgusting, believe me... It's impossible to imagine.

With a heavy heart, we're closing our Russian office, hoping it's temporary. Only digital distribution will work as before. Music can heal souls, music is a way to communicate and unite people, to break all limits and borders. 17 years we were happy to see how it works and as soon as we will see any chance to continue, we will relaunch Russian sales. Worldwide sales will remain as usual from our EU office.

That would be a lie if I told you that we didn’t expect that sooner or later the difficult situation in Russia will push us away from the Russian market, but even in the worst nightmare, we didn't think that the scenario could be like this. Since 2014 year, we have slowly moved our label to the EU, 3 last years all our products are made in the EU and our main warehouse is in Austria. So, there will be no effect on shipping of your orders. Only some of our old releases could become unavailable but we will try to solve this asap.

Hey, recently we announced a few new releases: Militia, Coil, Ihor Tsymbrovsky. All will be available in 2022, pre-orders are open. Please check the link below to find out more. Limited versions are sold out or almost and thank you for that!

Actually, the releases were supposed to be ready at the end of this but what we have now it's a growing crisis on Vinyl Production. Endless delays and ridiculed rise in price(almost 3xtime just in a few years!) makes everything pretty difficult and frustrating. It's common knowledge now. Many labels and artists make public posts about their awful experience with pressing plants this year. Seems like there is no end. Same time major labels have no problem producing many thousand copies of useless s**t.
Although, we're still here and a few more not announced releases are on the pipeline, and some of them are already on the pressing plant but we can't even get delivery dates. So, more announces the next year.
